Hi Friends! Today I am going to show you a fun technique using watercolor pencils and regular (wax or oil) colored pencils. If you don’t have watercolor pencils you can use any kind of markers or watercolors for the first coating. Experiment, it’s how we develop new techniques! If you do want to get the Spectrum Noir (regular) pencils and Prima Watercolor pencils I used in this tutorial you can find them at Hallmark Scrapbook. The stamp I am using is an old favorite from Personal Stamp Exchange, it is no longer available so substitute with your favorite flower stamp:
I hope you got some new tips and techniques from today’s video! Thanks for stopping by and til next time happy crafting!
Pretty!!! I love the PSX stamps, wish they still made them. I have got to have some of those watercolor pencils. Hope you have a good week.

Thanks for doing this video. Nice tips along the way. I think I will start using my watercolor pencils more often with these smaller stamps for cards. I can worry less about fiddling with my watercolors. I like using my brushes, and I will invest in a cat’s tongue brush, for it looks quite handy. Thanks again, my virtual friend with the lovely Maine accent!

Lindsay — I love your stuff but can I request a pansy that you draw and paint — not stamp? Keep ’em coming — I try all with “mixed” results! LOL – Pat

thank you, the color dusters are made by Judikins and they are available individually or in 4 packs. I think Joann.com has them. I got mine at Skybluepink.com and they are a nice small place to shop if they still have them.

Hi. I love all of your wonderful tutorial videos. I was wondering if you would consider a tutorial on a bluebird. I have them at my feeder and they are so beautiful. I was hoping you would consider doing either a watercolor or watercolor pencil tutorial on this. thank you for sharing your gifts and talents with us!

Another beautiful creation! I love watching you and learning from you! Thank you for sharing with us all the time!
In my opinion, if you are purchasing products on sale and shopping around for the best price then you are being frugal! I have lots of supplies but have only spent a fraction of what they actually retail for. Remember that it never hurts to ask a company for a sample of a product. You would be surprised how many will send you a little something. Also, enter contests they are a great way to get product for free and somebody has to win so why not YOU (or me)!

So funny about your dog eating the treats! Saturday night we had a major fish tank crisis! Our 100 gallon tank shattered and water went everywhere! We had it in our bedroom, kitchen, living room, pantry, utility room, hall and basement! Fish were going everywhere and we were all frantically getting pots of water to place them in before they died. Luckily we didn’t lose a single fish and after using ALL of our towels, blankets and anything else that could sop up water, we finally got things dried out at around 2am. What a catastrophe. While this was going on somehow the dog’s treat box got moved and the cover got knocked off. We didn’t realize it but he ate the whole thing! No wonder he was so quiet and out from under foot as we were cleaning up! He looked like the cat that ate the canary when we discovered what he had done! We told him that he was not going to have treats for the rest of the week because he ate them all. Then hubby goes out after work today and buys him another box of treats! So much for grounding him from treats for a week! LOL
Thanks again for sharing with us!
