Printable Plant Pic Freebie! (with cutting files for DS and SCAL users too!)

Mother’s day again! This year is extra special because my sister is pregnant for the first time! All the local nurseries are open with lots of lovely plants and each year we pick some up for our mothers and the kids and hubby get me some too (with the stipulation that they put the plants in the ground, otherwise it just too cruel really, leaving a plant solely in my care, I do believe that plants commit suicide when they realize that that I am their caregiver…I’m not kidding.) How about a little freebie to help you pretty-up that plant for mom? I made these plant pics to share with you today:

I cut the pics larger out of balck and smaller out of cream then I inked the edges of the black pics with green Mica Magic ink. I painted my runner stamps with my M Graham watercolors (not to juicy, just add enough to the dried paint in the palette to get the paint to release) and to soften the stark cream I added green chalk with a pom-pom afterthe paint dried. I glued the layers together, stamped the butterfly and leaves, trimed them and added them on with foam tape and for sparkle I added stickles to the wings and a homemade dew drop to the leaf.
