Happy Friday folks! Well, the fine folks at About Art Accents/Art Neko was so happy with the amount of comments on last weeks givaway that they have given me more stamps to give out! First thinks first, the winner of last weeks drawing is: Patti! Wow, what a super simple yet powerful technique. You come up with the best ideas. And the spider stamps are just completely adorable! It looked like the wax resisted the stamps, too… did you just re-stamp them to make them show up better, or did you end up going over them with a marker? I’m still trying to figure out when to use the dye vs pigment stampers (mind you, I only own six stamp pads at the moment, but hey, it’s a start).

So fun and quick to make! I’ve used waxed paper as a resist on gourds but for some reason never thought of doing it on paper. I like to crinkle it up and iron it onto the page. Makes cool texture for the background. 🙂
