We are in rare form today, but first, an apology…

Hi friends. Do you ever have that feeling that you forgot something but can’t place it but then when you remember you are mortified? Well, that is me right now. I guess I was preoccupied this week being on jury duty that I completely forgot about my mom’s birthday! I know, I am a terrible human being! Mom, if you are reading this (I tried to call, no answer) Happy Birthday! And I am so sorry for forgetting, I am truly ashamed of myself 😦

Happy Birthday Mom!!!!!

Please forgive me. I am feeling like the most ungrateful kid in the world tonight. I am so sorry:( Β I hope my mom knows how much I love her and how truly sorry I feel.

Now back to our regular scheduled programming. It is Wednesday and time for Ask a Crafter. As I mentioned before we taped a few episode ahead of time to be sure to have new shows when I was in jury duty so you get Kathy, Lorraine and I in all of our silliness. And there is a lot of silliness this week:

If you have a question for an upcoming show leave them in to comments! Thanks for stopping by and til next time happy crafting…and happy birthday mom!

  1. I think I know you well enough from your blog to say that you are good to your mom all year long. You love her and she loves you. The card is just the icing on the cake (pardon the pun!), and a little late is forgivable, especially under the circumstances. Don’t let guilt steal one second of your celebration of her birthday.

  3. TIP: you CAN use CHOP STICKS on a plane to KNIT…my friend did this when we went to CHA a couple of years ago because knitting needles were not allowed at that time! She said they worked great!
I don’t knit, but received what she was working on and still using the scarf!

  4. Hi Gals, You three crack me up. You guys are fun to watch and I learn something every time I watch. My question is… I was given a box of real old rubber stamps. Most of them are disney stamps. I was told they are about 50+ years old. I can tell by the characters too. Anyway, they are very dirty and dry. Can I use glycerin to clean them up and soften the rubber? I have not done anything to them yet. They are wood mounted. I can send pictures if that would help.

  5. Thanks, Lindsay! I did give mom a call, phew! In our conversation she had a question for you… She has a snow bird home in Yuma, Arizona and wants to leave her markers there when she returns to Oregon. She is worried about the hot Arizona summers and wondered if she should leave the markers in the refrigerator. Any thoughts? Signed Your “our mom’s have the same birthday” buddy πŸ™‚

  6. Happy Birthday for your mom, Lindsay. Tell her I hope she had an awesome day.
These little lapses do happen from time to time and I’m sure she knows you love her to bits and pieces!

  7. I also love the laughter and silliness….no pretenses, just the real deal. Makes me want to tune in and learn more while visiting with you three. Thanks for the inspiration and all your tips. Don’t worry about forgetting your mom’s birthday….my daughter has done it several times, but the late cards and calls are just as treasured. It’s all about the love!!
