Hi friends, today I am going to show you how to make a card that magically colors it self when you pull the tab.

Supplies:
Stamp: Framed Poppies (ArtNeko)
Ink: Staz-on for transparency, Memento for cardstock *I used Archival in the demo but staz-on will ensure no smudging.
Transparency film
White cardstock
A2 card or 5 1/2″x4 1/4″ cardstock folded
patterned paper
Ribbon
Washi tape
Punch (circle or fancy shape)
Dry adhesive (ATG gun)
Stamp positioner
Coloring medium: Chameleon pens, Watercolor pencils and blending pen
Measurements
Cut the cardstock and transparency for stamping on to 3″x4 1/4″
Card sleeve: 5 1/2″x8 1/2″ (then fold in half)
Divider: 5″x4″ (then cut a 1/2″ strip off the bottom for stopper)

Hi Lindsay I have a question for you. I have some wooden stamps…like what they use for making batik fabrics. I want to use them. I’ve tried using a stamp pad to no avail. It doesn’t look good at all. Any suggestions. I bought 3 at the Houston quilt expo in November. HELP. Thank you so much. Pam

they are for fabric so you need to treat your paper like fabric, pick a soft printmaking paper and wet it then blot off the excess water, then you can try ink or paint on the stamp, applying paint with a brayer to the stamp is your best bet I think.

Very pretty card. I love it. I sit down to rest my back been cutting out quilt pieces that is going to take me forever to cut out. It is so relaxing to watch you. We had a little ice and snow this morning so we came back home after a couple of hours. Can’t drill any water wells in this weather. Stay warm.

it stains them wicked, I have heard it is bad for them, another reason to love red rubber.

If you are going to use Stazon, you must clean your stamps immediately. I also purchased a special stazon cleaner for my stamps which seems to clean the stamps well. I haven’t seen as much staining as I did before using it. Warning though- it does have a distinct odor with a caution to use in a well ventilated area.
The card is fabulous. I have a perfect size flower stamp in my stash that would work well with this, along with some paper that I love, but just didn’t work in a scrap book. Can’t wait to try it out.

Hi Lindsey, thanks for sharing this fun card! Question: would you please provide the specific brand name, etc. of the blending pen you used? I’m new to watercolor pencils, I’ve seen the water filled pens, but not one like you use in the video, it looked more like a pencil itself. Thanks much, stay warm!

Loved the card !! Can’t wait to give it a try. I don’t have any grommets or a crop a dial, I thing using staples would make the car look incomplete, any suggestions on what else to use? Thank you for sharing.

use stapes and then add the edge strips of decorative paper to hide them or sew on a button!
