Gettin “squishy” with it!

Happy Monday everyone! What does hair gel have to do with scrapbooking? It’s an odd question huh? Check out these projects and you will see:

The jam jars on the card and scrapbook page are made with hair gel! Do you want to find out how? Check out the video:

How do you like the new camera angle? I finally figured out how to film right-side-up…It only took 93 videos LOL!

I know many of you are horrified at the thought of a bag of hair gel living in your scrapbook page, if that will keep you up at night just make the card instead 🙂 I am not too worried about it because if something did leak it will be in a page protector all by itself so it could only sully its own page. Besides, I can always print more photos.

How can you resist the squishable goodness?

Thanks for stopping by and til next time happy crafting!

  2. Lindsay you just make me laugh so hard. I love how you kept squishing that jar. I would have done the same thing. 🙂 Congrats on getting the camera angle right. Ninety videos really is not bad at all, lol.Don’t feel bad I would have poured the whole bottle of microbeads in the bag. That was one of your best videos, ever. 🙂

I loved mine Fiskars Shape Cutter. This big huge thing in my home broke it. It’s called a husband, lol. I haven’t replaced my cutter yet.

I can’t wait to try the gel cards. I have always wanted to do that technique. I don’t use hair gel so I felt goofy buying it. Now, I will definitely get a bottle. I keep forgetting it will last for years.

I am so jealous your weather is chilly. Send it my way. It’s over 100 degrees and drought conditions.

  4. I absolutely love this idea! Interactive cards are my favorite. I think I have everything but the clear gel, so I’m off to the Dollar Store to buy some. Thanks for the great instructional video. 🙂
