Hi friends! I wanted to give you the heads up that there will be another Ask a Crafter Live tomorrow at noon ET. You can ask questions on The YouTube LIVE watch page (you can even add them in the chat on that page now) or you can watch the show live here on my blog in the player below. I will not be able to monitor comments here though, so if you want to get your questions in you will need to ask it in the chat box on YouTube.
My Guests include:
- Kathy Oldfield
- Lorraine Swazey (hopefully she will be in studio with me if nothing comes up)
- and special Guest Cinnamon Cooney the Art Sherpa!
With these fun gals on board we are bound to have a great time! Hope to see you live tomorrow but if you can’t make it the replay will be available directly after the broadcast! I’ll be back later today with crafty tutorial but til then happy crafting!
Are you going to be doing it like this all the time? Hoping you will go back to the way it was with the 3 of you taping it. I think it worked out better that way.

We are going to keep it like this, it will get better as we get used to the technology, unfortunately the only way to learn it is to do it! Lorraine lives in my town so she might be live in studio with me. Tracking down questions and physically coordinating everyone got to be more than I could handle, at least I can still do the show this way:)

I have a question….what is the BEST ink pad to use if you are watercoloring in the stamped images with brush or spectrum aqua markers or watercolor pencils, etc…my black MEMENTO dye based inks always bleed into the colors when i add water,,,thank you!,,,pamela

Hi Lindsay , I couldn’t watch live but watched this morning. thanks for all the work you do to help crafters. Much of it is over my head but I watch some of your videos to learn what I can about painting and cardmaking. 84 years old and still wanting to paint. love the watercoloring with the waterbrushes. so much easier than when I tried painting with acrylics. enjoyed it but not very successful with that.
loved seeing Cinnamon’s paintings. She reminded me so much of a young friend from years ago. Betty

This has to be the best thing that happened on my first week of teleworking: I got to listen to it live while I worked!

Easiest way to remove stamps from wooden blocks: freeze them overnight in your freezer! This way you avoid the gooey glue from a heat tool or microwave. Much the easiest way!

great tip, I’ll try that next time!

Best overall value for Copic-coloring card stock: Hammermill’s Color Copy Digital Cover Paper (250 sheets for about $22, 100 pound weight, 8.5 X 11 inches): the one with the green frog on the front. Do not make the mistake of buying the lesser weight “frog on the front” version sold at Staples and Office Depot. I get it in my area from Kelly Paper. This paper is awesome: blends like butter with Copics and beats every other type paper I have tried. Cannot beat the price or performance with alcohol-based markers.

Hi, for some reason I can’t leave a comment on You Tube, just wanted to say don’t worry about the length of the AAC videos, I got a lot of Copic coloring done while learning from you talented ladies! I think I’m not the only one that likes to listen to an instructive video while doing something else. After all, it’s a free class! All your efforts are very much appreciated!
