Hi friends! I have a serious problem and I think many paper-crafters can relate. Precious paper. You know that stuff that is too pretty to use, and to add insult to injury sometimes there is a gorgeous paper on the back side too! I seriously feel like I need to buy a couple of sheets to use and a couple to keep. Luckily my frugalness keeps me from buying 5 sheets of the same piece of paper but cutting into my one and only sheets pains me. Today I am going to show you how to stretch that lovely paper and make a cute card!
Watch the video for instructions!

I know just how you feel, I love to just look at some of my papers. Just can’t bear to cut them. Maybe I will bite the bullet and try cutting one with your inspiration.

Hi Lindsay,
Love the card and enjoyed the video. Your little fairy is so cute and wimsical. I hoard my paper as well and I am sure we are not alone. It’s interesting how you extend the tree branch to the end of the paper w/ the flowers at the top so the fairy doesn’t look like she is hanging in mid air, cool trick. Thanks for the video. Rosie B.

Your voice is in my head all the time about materials being too precious, so I totally get this post. I’m trying not to get too invested in “preciousness” and use every scrap I can. I really liked the how to frame it in deal. I will definitely use that in future cards…miter corners and all. And I took advantage of free shipping at a new venue….the economy thanks you! 😀

I thought I was the only one with HPS (Hoarding Paper Syndrome)! If there’s a prize for the person who dies with the most paper I think I may be a contender. Thanks for the coloring tips!

Can you tell us more about the brush you used for adding background color? I don’t see it in the supply list. Looked like a shaving brush? Thank you, Lindsay!

Hey! I saw your question. I found the color dusters that she uses at a company called Rubber Stamp Tapestry. Hopefully they still have them in stock. It was only two weeks ago that I recd. them. (I haven’t tried them yet.)
