Supplies for the project:
- 140# watercolor greeting card and envelope
- Nuance watercolor powders (Lost Coast Designs)
- Stencils
- Stamps: Butterflies (Lost Coast Designs)
- Black archival ink-pad, Wild Honey Distress ink-pad
- Mod-Podge or white glue
- Black acrylic paint
- Seam binding-white (ribbon)
- Die cut or punched flowers (from white cardstock)
- Hot Glue
- Cosmetic sponges (aka make-up wedges)

This was so much fun. I was just going to have it on in the background while I was crafting, but had to stop and watch the whole thing. You also inspired me to dig out my old hot glue gun. I spend so much on adhesives, and I should learn to use it for my 3d paper crafts.

You have such a “free” quality about you, what you had said today about if you don’t use it you loose it made complete sense to me. You inspire me to craft more and try other things. Thank you.

Pretty card. Well Lindsay I just ordered all15 colors. Not to frugal today. I splurged just a little. Got to do what a girls got to do. Have a good week and stay warm. Eleven degrees in Tennessee this morning.

oh that is cold! We will be getting the sub-zero temps tomorrow-Thursday. Better stay in and paint! I really love the live shows and mixed media cards. I have learned so much from you Lindsey that would have cost tons of money at art classes. I never miss any of you videos and hope you keep making them for years to come.

Where did you get those clear gems that you colored over with pink marker? The jarful of yours is alot! I’ve seen one sold in a small package from Pretty Pink Posh online store, but you probably got it from elsewhere in bulk size.

you get a huge bag at Micheals in the floral department for $6 and color them with alcohol markers for any color!

Hey Lindsay, I enjoyed watching you on the show! I just wish I would have known about it sooner so that I could have entered in the drawing! I would love to get me one of those bow makers! I use to make very pretty bows with no problems but now my hands don’t work as well! I have been sick in bed for weeks! When I am not sleeping I am watching youtube crafting videos to keep me entertained b/c I am too weak to get up and do anything else! I have been laying here making list in my head of all the things I want to get done and plan to do as soon as I am well! What you said in the video about crafting I think is so right! I am so out of practise with not working on things b/c I put them aside and do other things first! This year I am going to start paying more attention to my crafting and art! That is what makes me happy so I need to get more into it and enjoy what I am doing instead of feeling pressure to make things to sale! Life is too short and I want to enjoy my life more and enjoy the talent that God gave me! Thank you Lindsay for saying that! It reminded me of my goal for this year! Now I just need to get myself well! God bless 🙂
