Gettin’ Digi With it!

Happy Monday folks! I must say this post is a surprise to me because when I sat down to print out my designs from my brand spanking new Lindsay’s Stamp Stuff set “Card, Tags and Toppers” I expected I would be on my merry way to decorate some treat bags in my craft room, well, I live in the North, it’s December and my craft room is in my unheated basement so I was more inclined to stay at my cozy computer and digiscrap instead:

Papers, Mat, element: Lindsay's stamp Stuff, Fonts: LD Buttercream, DB Pretty Borders

I used the Winter Printables set to make this scrapbook page, I love this pink/green/red combo. The pink paper is from this weeks freebie and you can snag it from this post. I used an embossed scallop mat from the embossed mats kit to mat my photo.

Ink Saving tip: Using white elements gives your eyes a chance to rest and since white is the color of your paper you are saving ink! Notice how I like to distress the edges of the paper and print designs in white, you get a nice blast of color but it is also easy on your ink cartridges (they don’t call me the Frugalcrafter for nothing 😉 )

This quick card is included in the Cards Tags and Toppers Kit on sale for $3!

I did play with the Card, Tags and Toppers kit by taking 30 seconds out of my evening and plopping a photo into the 4×8 holiday card…OK 35 seconds, I had to type “Merry Christmas from the Weirichs” LOL! This may be my easiest Christmas card yet! Here is a look at the kit:

I will have some more samples using the kit on Thursday along with another freebie so be sure to check back for that. But now make sure you see what the fabulous Monday Crew at Lindsay’s Stamp Stuff has been up to:
