Sarah Paris Style Swap!

The cool thing about being a designer is that you get to meet other awesomely talented designers! When I asked my fellow designers at MyGrafico if anyone would like to do a “Style Swap” Sally from Sarah Paris Style was the first to say “yes!” so I get to play with some of her products and she is using mine to make some fun projects. Here are the first projects I made using her “Celebrate the Season” papers available at MyGrafico:

Paper: Sarah Paris Style, Template: Lindsay's stamp Stuff, Rubber stamps: Studio G, Ribbon: American Crafts, JoAnns

How pretty are those papers? I love that they are festive but they don’t commit to any holiday in particular, they would work as well for Christmas as they would for Hanukkah or Kwanzaa {she is one smart cookie to make such versatile papers} These boxes are holding the homemade fudge I will be gifting this year. I used the clipping mask from my 3-D calendar kit to trim the paper (on the computer) before printing it as not to waste ink then all I did was cut, fold and glue. I found a Carnation Old fashioned Fudge kit at the supermarket for $6 and It made enough fudge to fill all 6 of the boxes. I comes with an 8″x8″ pan and if you cut it like this it is perfect:

If you make the fudge in a square pan and cut it like this it fits the boxes perfectly!

Better yet I didn’t even have to make the fudge, hubby did, talk about easy;)

Now be sure to hop over the Sarah Paris Style blog, she will be posting a project made with Lindsay’s Stamp Stuff goodies sometime today and if you want to grab this gorgeous paper you can visit her shop at MyGrafico {it’s where all the cool kids hang out!} I’ll have another project using her cool products tomorrow too, until then happy crafting!

  1. I just found your blog, love it! The little boxes you put the fudge in are they a template to purchase somewhere? I love the shape, different from others I have seen. Enjoyed my visit, will be back!

    1. Thanks Gina! The template is from my 3-D advent calender kit here: http://www.mygrafico.com/printables-and-crafts/3-d-advent-calendar-and-favor-kit/prod_1485.html and I used the included clipping mask to “Trim” the sarah paris paper before printing. There are printable templates too if you just want to print it on your pre printed paper or cardstock as well and an SVG cutting file in the kit for cricut/scal users. I;m glad you liked the project!
