…try again after a glass of wine! I was working on this card kit, I wanted the look of crayon scribbles and bright colors. I also wanted to use the white of the paper so that the kit wouldn’t be too costly to print. I liked it so I printed it but the flower paper was a bit to “rough” looking for me so after mulling it over I went back and made it crisper and brighter. Here are the cards I made with the first attempt:
The only change I made to the kit was the flower paper, you can see a preview here:
Here are some other kits I released in the shop this week and for the month of June if you spend $10 in the Lindsays Stamp Stuff Shop you get your choice of a card kit for free!
Thanks for stopping by and till next time happy crafting!
Awesome cards! There’s an award for you on my blog!

I mixed up a couple of bottles of glimmer mist and tried it out using your recipe. I have one question tho. Does it curl up your paper? Mine seemed awfully wet. I am using a travel size hair spray bottle. Otherwise it turned out pretty good. I’m thinking you would have to spray your paper before making a project, correct?
Your new papers are really pretty and good luck with your new store.

Hi Linda,
It depends on how much spray you put on, when I did the flower I assembled it first and curled the leaves and put the button $ brads on then I sprayed it and blasted it with my heat tool to dry. Sometimes I lay a sheet on wax paper and spray the heck out of it then press saran wrap in it and smoosh it and weight it don under a book to dry with a cool texture. I usually put my item to shimmer in a box and spray and let it dry, easy peasy;) I do not think I would spray directly on a finished card unless I was going really light. Hope it helps.

Hi Hippie,
I die cut flowers from text print pages of a magazine and curled up the petals then I added a button with brads through the buttonholes to keep it together then I sprated it with my homemade shimmer spray, let it dry and adhered it with a homemade glue dot. Thanks for asking!
