If you are in central Maine and would like to pick up a signed copy of the book and meet Kelly and me we will be signing (and selling) books at the The Briar Patch bookstore on Central Street in Downtown Bangor Maine this friday from 4-6pm. The book will be available here on Amazon next week for folks who are out-of-town:)

This is the second book Kelly and I have worked on together and I couldn’t pick a better person to work with. You can see what Kelly is up to on her blog The Page Peddler where she has information about upcoming local Maine book events and will be adding book reviews as well. check her out! That’s all for today, after lots of computer work yesterday I am itching to get away from the computer and play in my art room! Happy crafting!

  4. Thats so awesome!! I am sure anyone reading the book, or reading it to someone, will remember the pictures as much as the story! I still remember stories from 50 years ago, and can see the pics. So happy for ya! Send us selfies from the signings!

  5. Wow,looks beautiful. I’m so proud of you and I don’t even know You! Ha I’m sure your family must be as well. You have inspired me so much in my card making.i got them into a floral shop to sell, I pray they do well now that I have all these ideas in my head! At 2.00/card,it’s not about the money but supplies my habit at the craft store. I can only send so many cards now that im retired from nursing. All my co-workers got cards.lol I too am frugal! Found a sketch pad in the card I had forgotten about, did some trees, pinecone…not bad for 1st time…..all you.thank you for inspiring me.

  6. I am looking forward to buying the new book, as a retired teacher and with 12 of them as a reading teacher, I am for books and reading to kids. In addition, Lindsey thank you for getting me into watercolors- have learned so much from watching your videos and am excited to be starting a new hobby at 76. I have at least a yard of assorted color packs of 8 1/2 x 11 yardstick-on sale of course- to also work my way through from making cards for shipping to service personnel. I book mark favorite videos to re-watch so I can paint along. Also subscribed to your series of lessons. Keep up the great work, and bless you and your family. Tell Sara hello too, my handyman made me a ribbon holder from plastic gutters and ends. love it. Pat239
