Gorgeous, as always… love how you teach and share your talent, this is not anything I would have attempted once upon a time but you make it so much easier to give it a try xo
Hi Lindsay,
I’m a watercolor beginner and thanks to your easy to understand tutorials, I decide to give it a try myself.
However, I’m stuck with a major problem. At the beginning of your videos, you usually advise to wet the paper and drop a few watercolors and let the “magic” work by itself. But when I put water on my watercolor paper, the paper absorbs the water almost instantly and I’m unable to create that “magic”. 😦
Please help! Is it because you use really good quality watercolor papers? Mine is by campap b4 20sheets 200gsm acid free multi purpose paper (pencil, charcoal, ink, pastel, crayon & watercolor)
P.S. Thank you for inspiring me to start watercolouring!
sounds like bad paper, get a watercolor paper140#/300gsm weight. It does not have to be expensive but it should be watercolor paper, not multi pourpose
STUNNING – love the flower Lindsay!!!!
Thanks for sharing – you are such an inspiration!!!
Paper Hugs,
Jan
