Nifty Gifties!

Sometimes inspiration is right under your nose. I have such an uber talented design team and every week they inspire me. When I saw the cool chapstick favors on Tamara Bennett’s blog Scrapcation Getaway (do check out her blog, she has lots of great craft ideas!) I was dumbfounded, I loved the chapstick favor idea so much that I incorporated the idea in my new SVG set Nifty Gifties:

This kit has all you need to create affordable favors and classroom gifts. I was at Big Lots the other day and they had 12 packs of Jolly Rancher lip balms for $6, you can get good deals on chapstick packs at any department store too. If lip gloss is not your thing you can cut the template larger and it can hold a pack of gum, rollos, lifesavers or mints.

Here is a look at the inside of the lip balm purse:

You can find packs of 20 flat holiday lollipops for $2 at the grocery stores. Make these cute trees and slide the sucker inside and viola, a classroom of happy kids for pennies a piece!

Need a versatile favor bag for any occasion? Here it is. this bag can be cut and assembled in about a minute!

All of the files in Nifty Gifties are designed to make quick, easy inexpensive favors, they are simple enough to make WITH your children as well so share the love of crafting with your little ones this year and you will have sweet little gifts made in no time. If you have a Cricut Machine and SCAL software you can cut them on your cricut but there are printable templates as well and they are laid out so you don’t wast paper: You get 4 purses on one 8.5″x11″sheet, 4 tree favors on another sheet (print them on 4 different patterned paper and mix and match the parts to make 16 favors!) and the box fills the 8.5″x11″ with enough room for two scalloped tags too. Whether you print or die cut the favors they are easy and fun to make.

You get these 3 darling svg/printable favor templates for only $3!

This project qualifies for the following challenges: AUD Sentiments (hohoho-on lip balm favor), Bunny Zoe (Christmas-not a card), Christmas Stamping All Year Long,  CraftyCatz, crafty sentiments, scrappy frog, Stamp it Crazy, (Christmas), A crafty Little Place, papercutz,(anything goes), Creative Inspirations (red, green, gold), DCD Christmas Club (die cut & Christmas), Ellephantastic, Embellish Magazine, (color challenge) and Hand Stamped Sentiments (favors, table decorations)

Thanks for stopping by and til next time happy crafting.
