I love challenges blogs, it’s so fun to be inspired to create something new and see what others make too! One of my fave challenge blogs is Caardvarks, their DT us uber talented and always inspiring. This week the challenge was to make something 3-D, here is my take:
I used a die cut bag from Creative Cuts and More and assembled it with Killer Red tacky Tape then used stamps from About Art Accents to decorate it. After it was all put together I gave it a few blasts of my homemade shimmer spray…yes I sprayed it directly on my project!
Stamping details:
I stamped the fairy on Watercolor paper with black versafine ink, heat set and colored with Prismacolors and blended with goo-gone then applied glue to the wings and glittered them. The butterflies were stamped on trancparencywith black staz-on, flipped over and colored with Bic Mark-its then I put double stick tape over that and cut out and glittered. I attached them with glue dots.
Have a great sunday and happy crafting!
I love your glittery fairy … your photograph makes her look like she’s ready to fly off into the forest … gorgeous 3-D project.
