Edited to add finished photo of painting.
Well, this deer ended up looking a bit awkward and if you watched the video til the end you saw the unfortunate inking of the face. I patched her up with a bit of colored pencil and called it a day. Have a great weekend everyone!
Hi friends! I can’t wait to paint with you today! It has been such a busy week that I am craving some watercolor and chit-chat with my peeps! I was thinking about what I wanted to paint this week and I came across this photo by Teddy Kelley on Unsplash and it just struck me. I love the soft, calm beauty of it.
I hope I can do it justice. You can watch the livestream or the replay in the player below but if you want to chat live be sure to watch on YouTube at 12:30pm ET.

I am new to your videos, love them, however today I was watching on my iPad and despite the volume up the highest, it was hard to hear you.

Hi Marie, there are two volumes, the one on your devise and also one you can increase on the video screen. I should be a slider bar on the bottom left of the video. That is where it is on mine but it is not an ipag. It sounds loud on my computer anyway:)

Do you use phthalo blue green shade or red shade? You used that color in a color pictures I want to paint. I think the other one was the Northern Lights. also, what color is Quinacridone Red? I have Quin Rose and Quin Magenta OR Pyrrol Crimson and Pyrrol Scarlet. Thanks. I LOVE this painting. I hope I can do it justice as you have!

I use pthalo green shade (hmm, never tried red shade come to think of it!) and try quin rose, if it looks to pink you can give it a dash of either pyroll red color.
