Highlights from day 1 at the Heirloom Stamp Show & Paper Arts Festival!

Howdy folks! I had a ball at the Heirloom Productions show in West Springfield yesterday and today I am going back for more. They are open from 11-4 at the Eastern States Expo if you want to come down and see what all the fuss is about yourself (although it might be hard to see it all in 5 hours-I did not get to everyone yesterday so I am glad to have another chance today!) The best part about going to a stamp show is seeing the new products available from stamp companies and meeting the fabulous demonstrators, in most cases the owners and designers themselves! Check out this fun demo from Judikins:

Here is one of my favorite stamp companies, Lost Coast Designs, and their rubber offerings, I went to their booth first for best selection!

Local King Rubber Stamps was new to me last year so I made sure they were one of my first stops yesterday (I have to hit my favorites before I run out of cash LOL!)

I have used the rip ‘n flip envelope templates from Green Sneakers for years (making envelopes is a great way to use up those leftover papers from a  stack) here Nick demonstrates his interactive card templates and then I bought some!

I also wanted to be sure to film the demonstrator, Melinda, at the Impression Obsession booth, she is so funny and sweet and the way she uses the backgrounds is fabulous.

I also wanted to share the fun designs at Too Much Fun rubber stamps. They will be at a show in NY next weekend and you can find the details on that here.

Stampland has some creative stamps too, their website is under construction right now but you should be able to order from them soon or find them at a stamp show.

So how did I do bringing the stamp show to you? I will post more from the show tomorrow including my personal haul (keep in mind I have been saving since last year!) but for now I need to get ready to go back! Thanks for stopping by and til next time Happy Crafting!

  1. Great, now all I have to do is download them to watch after tomorrow. Verizon only allows me 5 gigabytes

    1. You are so lucky! I haven’t been to a stamp show in years! Thanks so much for letting us see some of the new items available. The Stampland site is down and the demonstrator was none too friendly, but I liked some of their products.

  2. Hey Lindsay,

Thanks for helping me re-live my experience at the Philly Show! Those brushes from Stampland are awesome. I picked up about 15 or so and use them everytime I want to blend. No shedding and great blending.

I also picked up the paper bag stamp from Too Much Fun and just used it for a note on a Thank You Lunch I packed up for a friend.

Can’t wait to see what else you find!

    Thanks again for sharing.

      1. Well thank you for your quick answer !!
I recently buy the Cricut machine and I guess I can just make my own stencils !! and it will cost less money !
I just love looking at your videos because they give me such a punch for the whole day !! Stay like this.

  6. I’m gearing up for the Scrapbook Expo in GA next month. I’m all psyched up now! I got the benefit of seeing demos without having to do all the walking and elbowing my way to the front of the tables 🙂 Thanks!!!

  8. Hi Lindsay, I was there on Saturday and did not see you….I love that you recorded some of the demos. I tried to take notes but your videos are a GREAT help. Wish I could have stayed over and went on Sunday just to watch demos. I did purchase from Judikins and Impression Obsession, did you get to Rubbernecker, they have some nice stuff also. Maybe I will see you next year…Thanks again, Stephanie

  9. Thanks for the great videos! I particularly enjoyed the background stamping from Impression Obsession. I have been holding back on buying the Mega Mount but really love the way it makes stamping large images to easy. Will be watching for installment #2.

  10. Very cool, I love those stencils from Judikins and I saw those mica inks at the craft store yesterday and had no idea what they were for! So cool! Love those Lost Coast stamps too! Love the new envelope templates too! Loved all the great ideas for layering with the rock a block stamper. Loved those dusters too. Great videos Lindsay, so glad you walked the show for me. We get the Heirloom show here in Michigan but because of the knee surgery this year its a no go for me. So happy to see it through your eyes! Thanks a lot! ~Diane
