Hi friends! Today I am going to share many ways you can use watercolor pencils. I am using the new woodless watercolor pencils from Altenew but you can use what you have. The neat thing about woodless watercolor pencils is that there is no waste, you can use every bit of the pencil!

  8. Wow, I was overjoyed to see your name on the Altenew blog hope. I am new to Altenew (yet I have spent tons on their stamps and dies!). Today, I also got an email from Craftworld, listing your 2nd video. I have been following you for a while. I started when you had a hack for making ink applicaters out of pop lids. Watching your Sat Chat, is how I start my weekend. By the way, love your new room that you film in. I am in the process of reorganizing my studio. The oly problem I’m having is organizing the 1,200 wood stamps, 600 cling stamps, 4 large crates of different types of paper, and all the inks, powders, paints, and extras. I still purchase items after watching your videos. I don’t know where I’ll find the time to complete all the new projects you have inspired. Right now, I trying water colors. Using various mdiums such as pans of watercolors and gouche. You truly are an inspiration. (along boosting sales of craft items!)

  11. Gorgeous cards and I love the different styles/looks you showed. I love watercolour pencils and am thrilled to see that these are woodless and in a great palette that would be a great complement to the Altenew floral stamps.

    I am also super-intrigued by the palette you are using – is that a textured plate or something? I can see those lines being great to control the amount of paint on your brush – what is it and where did you get it???

  12. I found your video very useful. Your showing of three different ways to use the colored pencils was very well done. I have never seen or thought that water color pencils could be applied to the spritzed stamp. I liked the effect very much.

  21. loved your tips. u reminded me that i have woodless watercolor pencils. have to give them a go with my new love of cardmaking with stamps. i to am looking for a way to use those sentiments with the dark background, frustration for sure. if you get a better way tip please share. loved the tip on putting the watercolor paper on top of the inked stamp, will try that immediately. thanks as always. see you in AOC waterbased oils.

  28. I use watercolor pencils I don’t seem to have the back for watercolor pans. I own a set of wood less watercolor pencils and I really like using them. I like the way they feel. I look forward to getting the altenew ones. They are sold out so I signed up to get notified. Thank you for sharing your talents with us.

  31. I was just mesmerized by your video! I loved your relaxed manner of painting and experimenting, and I love the look of all your cards. Your tips are valuable, and these pencils would be great for traveling, as you said! I like your layers and the deckled edge card.

  45. You talked about loving your Cretacolor Watercolor Pencils in the review you posted recently of woodless watercolor pencils. Amazon has Cretacolor Woodless watercolor pencils. Are those what you were referencing?
