- Turner Watercolors (Perm Lemon, Quin Magenta, Cerulean blue, Burnt Sienna, Yellow Ochre, Phthalo Green)

I think I prefer the sketch on the not so expensive paper too, maybe because it had less or no colored pencil in it. I haven’t found out yet myself when to stop when I start adding pencils on paintings, in the end I ask myself why I didn’t just draw it from the beginning on! i intend to just add some details that are hard to paint but you know how it is ….
I like the idea of mixing phtalo green with magenta to get a dark brown, I never thought about that before! When I try to get the same result using all three primaries I tend to end up with a huge amount of dark brown because something is always too much in my mix!
Maybe Sarah doesn’t need to worry about her creepy mail …. it could be somebody got the address wrong and it should have been delivered to one of her neighbors. It happens a lot somebody gets the house numbers wrong (23 instead of 32) or writes “road” instead of “street” and you end up with somebody else’s mail. I’m sure she will be with us next Friday and I’m looking forward to watching your Live Show again!

Hi Lindsay! Love this post! Was trying to figure out where that tin palette you use comes from. I couldn’t catch the name of the paints you got it with. Do you know if it can be purchased separately? Love the idea of using the magnets with just the colors you need. I’ve looked for white metal palettes on several sites haven’t found any yet.

it is the tin my QOR paints came in, you will need to get the 12 or 24 set to get this size tin as the made the tins for the 6 sets smallers because artists complained that the tim was too large for the paint it contained, pity really.
