  1. Please keep up with the watercolor as often as you can! I’m still a beginner. Although I cannot paint like you “yet”, I practice, practice, practice using your techniques. Love all of your videos!

  2. Hi Lindsay,
    my wish for next week:
    A easy draw/paint of a Easter-postcard, with a colorful butterfly sitting on a flower
with an easy background using Inktense pencils.
So I can see (and learn from) you coloring from delicate-color to a glowing-color.
    Thanks
Here is an example (but the flower is not my favorite and it’s a busy background):

  3. I loved the whole thing from beginning to end. More watercolor videos ahead please. They give me confidence and inspire me. Great hints in all areas. Thank you .

  4. Love your tutorials, Lindsay! Could you probably do another panpastel or charcoal tutorial next week? Already followed your panpastel landscape and chick and really enjoyed them! I would also appreciate another charcoal tutorial. Would love to draw an oldtimer car for my father-in-law ( he owns one) and charcoal fits perfectly, or what do you think?

  5. Lindsay- WOW! Beautiful! You are sooo fun to watch! A treat every time! Thank you so much for your time and knowledge!
Always enjoyable and informative! I learn something every time I watch-even if it’s not something I do. I am trying to use your advice about using what you have and learning with the basic colors. Practice, practice, practice- just like you say.
    Thank you again! Sincerely,
    Teresa
    ps-watch every day!

  6. I watched this over on YouTube. Halfway through I thought to myself, “There is no way this is going to look anything like the sample. What a mess.” ….but once again, you proved me wrong and made a stunning painting. Love it.

  7. Lindsey, If money was of no concern what pan watercolor set would you buy? I can afford the schminke but do you know anything about them? Everywhere I’ve looked they seem to be the best quality. All I know is I want bright, clean, transparent watercolors. I’m taking my time deciding so I don’t waste money. (I’ll never be able to buy top notch w/c’s again)
Any advice is greatly appreciated. I trust you. Thank you, Jan

    1. I have not used that brand but I think as long as you stick with a name brand artist quality you won’t be disappointed.

  8. Putting the finishing touches on this right now. I used gouache so it didn’t turn out quite as loose as yours, but I’m just happy to be experimenting with the colors. I’m usually so literal with my work. This was a lot of fun. I love architectural artwork and I’m hoping to get better at it, so this was great practice!
