5 Easy Christmas Card Ideas!

Have you sent your holiday cards out yet? Well, don’t worry! Crank up the Bing Crosby, pour yourself a cup of hot chocolate and make up a few batches of these cards this weekend. And they are easy enough for the kids (and hubby) to help with. Disclaimer: I do not think husbands are incapable of complicated cards, it’s just a joke folks.

I simply cut panels and strips of pattern paper as well as a sentiment and adhered them to a card base. All supplies by Echo Park.
I made my card base from kraft cardstock and adhered a panel of PP (DCWV) then stamped on stitching. the red pael is Echo Park and the stamped sentiment (Studio G) was in the dollar bin at Joanns! I punched it with a square flourished punch and embellished the card with ribbon.
I stamped Christmas Trees (Fiskars) on a card base and used a dot marker to add the red balls then adhered the sentiment (Echo Park) to the bottom.
I used my "go-to" banner stamps from Pink Persimmon to make this cute and easy card!
All I did here was adhere a panel of blue argyle paper (DCWV) on a card base and stamp a sentiment (SU!) on the edge. The embossed snowflake is an Ellison embosslet and I embellished it with a rhinestone in the center.

Tip: Pre cut all card bases and layering pieces and have adhesive, stamps and ink pads out and ready. Set up all of the supplies on the kitchen table (or if you are like me on the coffee table and pop in a good holiday move when you work!) and put the cards together assembly line style! Here is a look at a work in process:

I sold quite a few of these easy cards in packs of 4-6 at my craft fair last weekend (go ahead and copy if you like, I won’t tell;) and at about 5 minutes a card they are quick enough to make for everyone on your mailing list! Thanks for stopping by and til next time happy crafting!

  1. Thank you so much for giving me the extra push I needed.
I tend to make very fussy cards and then I get behind. Your simple and pretty cards have given me an idea to get the card list finished today.
