It’s the Easter Beagle Charle Brown!

We dyed our Easter eggs yesterday, we started off with 16, I think there is 9 in the fridge right now. The dog benefited from 4 dropped eggs on the floor and the girls enjoyed 3 that were accidentally dropped on the table and well, Jackson will not eat an egg unless is it made from chocolate or some other confection. But we had fun! Oh how I love to see the little bowl of bright egg dye! I was playing with the cricut yesterday and figured out how to make a nifty Easter Egg and Business card holder. Check them out:

I used DCWV cardstock for this but I think for the egg holder I would recommend a more rugged cardstock like Stampin Up! if you have any on hand. I used my new sale-a-bration stamps on the boxes and the little bunny is from a cheap Studio G dollar set. Sometimes you have a stamp that that several images that you would like to stamp separately like I  did with the “Yummy” set. I double mounted the stamp to make it more versatile, see:

I cut apart the two designs on the rubber as well as the sticker before mounting them on opposite sides of the wood block. It is easy to line it up because I have the sticker opposite the rubber, KWIM?

Here are the download links for the boxes. There are Design Studio Files that you can use with George or Plantain Schoolbook, and SVG files for SCAL users and yes they are baby bug compatible!

Egg holder .cut file for DS users with George and one to use with Plantain Schoolbook or an SVG version for SCAL.

No Cricut? No Problem! Here is a printable version. when you print it set the width to 12″ in the printer dialog box and it will be to scale, it will chop off a bit on the end but you can easily add a little length with a ruler, instructions are printed on the sheet.

Just a reminder SCAL software is on sale for 10% off with this coupon code:  until the 12th!

Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting!
