Watch the video then craft it for yourself!

This video is sponsored by Doodle Hog. All the supplies I used are linked below! Doodle Hog products can be found on the Doodle Hog Website and Amazon. Doodle hog LOVES to see what people make with their supplies, if anyone does these crafts be sure to use #doodlehogcrafts or tag them @doodlehogcrafts so they can see and share!

I was so pleased with how well these supplies worked together and how the cards turned out. The crayons are designed for kids but they work a lot better than some of the fine artists crayons I’ve used!

Supplies from Doodle Hog:

These products were a lot of fun to play with as an adult but Doodle Hog also has a huge array of art and craft supply kits for kids. Their Paint Your Own Squishy or Design Your Own Scrapbooking Kit would be a hit for a crafty kid this Christmas! So if you are stumped for ideas be sure to see what they have to offer! I hope you enjoyed this project and til next time Happy Crafting!

Got Art Block?

Hi friends! Do you ever feel like you are swimming against the current when you try to create? That’s how I had been feeling until a simple trick helped me.

Sometimes just grabbing the supply closet to you, or one you haven’t used in a while, and drawing with no expectation can break you out of a funk.

The magic supply can be anything you haven’t used in a while. For me it was my American Journey watercolor sticks. *I’m not sponsored by Cheap Joe’s and I’m not an affiliate, these are pricey but they are a fun addition to your watercolor/mixed media stash and you can get them individually. They have pigment info on the sticks and are a pro-grade product. I have a review on the American Journey Watercolor Sticks from Cheap Joe’s here if you are interested. So, what’s in your art stash that hasn’t been used in a while?

The December 2020 prompt in Critique Club deals with strategies to overcome art block so be sure to check it out if you are a member. If you are not a member but curios about it you can learn more here. Be creative friends and till next time happy crafting!
