Let’s Make a Duct Tape Tote! & EasyLunchboxes Winner Revealed!!!

Hi friends! Another snowy day in Maine, man, Mother Nature better shape up, it is supposed to be spring in a few days! Oh well, I decided to combat this constant deluge of winter by making an easy clean beach tote BUT FIRST I want to announce the winner of the EasyLunchboxes and Cooler bag giveaway (drum-roll please….) Marina M! Marina, please check your email for details. 😀 Last week after I made my quilted lunch bag I realized that I had no room for water bottles (well I guess I could have laid them over the top of the boxes in a pinch…) and I probably would not want to get the pretty fabric wet and sandy so I decided to make a wipe-down, no-sew, duck tape beach bag that will fit 4 ELBs and 4 water bottles. Have a look at today’s video:

For this project you will need:

  • Duct tape
  • Tarp
  • Craft knife
  • Ruler
  • Thin cardboard or matboard

Tips:

  1. Save scraps of tape to fill in bits as needed.
  2. Create the main part of the bag with solid color duck tape because it is less expensive.
  3. If you can’t find a tarp (I got mine at the dollar store) you can wash and recycle a grain bag or something similar.

I think this bag is going to be super useful this summer and I hope you try this project too! Thanks so much for stopping by and til next time happy crafting!
