I had time (while waiting for paint to dry) to make a quick card using layout #59 from Oriental Stamp Art. Since I am being a good little stamper I made an envelope to match (template below) and since good things come in 3’s I made an altered paperclip too:
Stamps: About Art Accents, PP: American Crafts, Tool: Cricut/SCAL softwareStamps: About Art Accents
The stamps are from About Art Accents. I stamped and embossed the coin rectangle (size d) then cut it into 3 squares and matted them on cream cardstock. I used a black ultra fine bic mark it to go over the “thank you” so it would stand out, The cute mat was cut and embossed using Penny Duncan free svg file from her blog (thanks Penny!) If you like the square petal envelope I made you can download the template here for free:
Don’t you just love Merry-go-Rounds? when I first designed this Carousel Horse digital stamp I had a clean horse and that’s it but I am a stamper from way back and I love the collage look rubber stamps so I thought “hey, why not make a funky collage style digital stamp?” So I did and it is available in the Lindsay’s Stamp Stuff Shop:
The carousel stamp set and the Shabby houndstooth paper pack are both on sale at MyGrafico and available instantly!
Here is a look a the Carousel Horse mini set. I know everyone does not like collage style stamps so I also have a clean version of the horse and frame included:
On sale for 1.99
Now lets see what the fabulous Junior DT has been up to this week:
*February is customer Appreciation month at MyGrafico, the more you have spent in the past the more you save this month! Please see this page for full details. Thanks for stopping by and till next time Happy Crafting!
Happy Monday!!! For all of you stay-at-home moms out there putting your kids on the bus after Christmas break it’s a really happy Monday LOL! There is some exciting stuff happening in the Lindsay’s Stamp Stuff Shop; first of all we have a new designer joining the team & a customer challenge (details below) and we are now offering SVG files to cut with your Cricut Machines (I know a lot of crafters found a Cricut under their tree this year!) SVG files can be cut with a Cricut die cutter and SCAL software, it is very easy:)
I made the Folio large to hold 5″x7″ cards and envelopes. To do this I used a piece of Strathmore Art Paper (12×18″) on a large mat in my cricut Expression and cut it at 15″ wide. make sure the keep proportion box is checked if you want the same shape box, or keep it unchecked if you want a narrower or wider box…I love the options of SVG files and SCAL software! Here is the open box, this would be great for selling card sets in craft shows I think!
See how nicely they fit inside, the box is 3/4" wide at this size, plenty of room for 6 embellished cards:)
Another cool idea would be to make a tiny box to hold Business cards or ATCs, I even heard that calling cards are making a comeback! Oh, how about little gift card boxes, think of all the options! The Recipe Card and Folio SVG set comes with 4 tabbed recipe cards too so you can also make a recipe box, here is a look at the set:
you get 5 svg files for $3!
Here is another brand new Template in the Lindsay’s stamp Stuff Shop, this Mailbox comes in SVG, Printable and a png clipping mask all for $3:
This is fun and perfect for Valentines day!
