Project tips!

  1. Save your scraps! You can die cut or punch embellishments from small paper scraps.
  2. Make paper goods ahead of time for a stress free holiday!
  3. Fill goodie bags with crayons and activity pads for kids or fresh-baked goods for adults! (pre-wrapped candy is a fun & easy option too!)
  4. Stick to one paper pack and a few embellishments/tools to keep crafting simple, coordinated and fun!

I hope you liked today’s project. It was a lot of fun to partner up with A.C. Moore to bring you this fun craft you can share with your friends and family this fall. Happy crafting!

Juicy water based marker
Clear embossing powder
Heat gun
Cardstock
Label dies

Directions:
1. Die cut labels from cardstock.
2. Stamp border using a variety of peg stamps and ink colors.
3. Write a name in the center with a wet water based marker and sprinkle with embossing powder, tap of excess powder and heat set.
4. Fold a strip of cardstock to make a stand and glue it to the back of the card.

Tip! If your markers dry to quickly you can draw over your lines with a clear embossing marker and add the powder to that. It is a great way to use Alcohol markers for color if that is what you have! You can make gift tags using this technique as well!

Nature Inspired Place Cards for Thanksgiving!

Hi friends! Quick update on Rosie the hen, she is still improving and eating a bit more, she seems to be taking thick oatmeal well and she had some peas and pear today. I think she lost a bit of weight before we brought her in and I wish she would eat and drink more but she seems happy. She is wide awake and looks perky but she just hangs out perched on her box. Very un-chicken like.
