Last minute Thanksgiving table ideas!

Happy Thanksgiving to all of my USA peeps! Today I have a super quick, easy, last-minute idea for your supper table. The supplies I used today are from around the house and from Papermart.

I am always running around last-minute. That’s why I love the idea of letting kids help out. A flower frog on the table with crayons of colored pencils in it is great for keeping people busy while waiting for the food!

The kids can make these shipping tag place-cards, they are pretty decorations and make a cute keepsake bookmark too.

We all have mason jars. By wrapping a  bit of ribbon around them and placing them on a metallic gold doily we have an instant centerpiece. Don’t forget the basket for height and flat backed marbles for sparkle! You can find the beautiful crinkled paper here.

A roll of burlap mesh makes a reusable table runner!

I hope you have a happy safe holiday and even if you did not have a chance to use these ideas today you can try them out at your next dinner party! Happy crafting!

Bring on the cuteness!

As I am writing this blog post I am listing to the sweetest cheep-peeping noises coming from our six new baby chicks! More on that later. Baseball season has started and I have two ball players in the house this year! We had a birthday party to go to over the weekend for a ball fan so I made this card using my Baseball Party SVG & Printable kit:

Here is a look at the Baseball Party kit, the printables are full-color so just print, cut and glue! Or use the die cut files to cut from colored cardstock and assemble. They make great embellishments for cards and scrapbook pages too!

…back to the chickens…

I have never has chickens before and I can’t believe how snuggly and cuddly they are. My kids adore them, they will perch on my girls’ arms for the longest time.  Check out how cute they are:

They are Rhode Island Reds in case you were wondering. They are so funny, all of a sudden they will all stop what they are doing and take a nap.

Do you know that a lot of famous people raised chickens? Martha Stewart and Al Gore come to mind.

A bird in the hand…awwwww….

Well, there is your dose of cuteness for a Monday morning! Til next time happy crafting!

Need some quick Easter favors?

Howdy folks, just a quick post today to share a new template I created. It is a cute bunny shaped basket that can be crafted in minutes. The Bunny Basket kit comes with an SVG cutting file and a printable template. I think it would be fun to print off the bunny templates on white paper and let the kids decorate and cut them out. It is really that easy!

And of course our bunny has a “cotton tail” it would be cute to use a white pom-pom in place of the tail cutout, don’t you think?

You can grab the kit here at Lindsay’s stamp Stuff and be done way before Easter rolled around, ain’t it great to be early for a change 😀

Arabian Nights Party!

Looking for a unique theme for your next party? How about an exotic Middle Eastern one! I designed the Arabian Nights Party kit for a customer who was throwing an Arabian Princess Party for her niece but the theme can be used for sleepovers, sweet 16, bachelorette, birthdays and more!

For the kids I included a “pin the tail on the camel” game, there are instructions on printing this to poster size using a standard home printer too. It is easy!

You get TEN 8.5″x11″ full sheet printables and ONE 5″x7″ invitation in this kit. The banners come in two sizes, I used the small ones in this photo. All of the templates are in JPG format and easy to customize.

Also included in the kit are SVG cutting files. You can cut large desert borders and party banners to use as decorations and you can cut the crown out of gold cardstock for a do-it-yourself party craft activity!

If you are throwing a party for kids you can show the Disney movie Alladin of for tweens you can rent reruns of I Dream of Genie on Netflix.

For refreshments you can serve hummus, falafel, pita triangles, baba ghanoush and rice with chickpeas. It is very vegetarian friendly too! Here is a look at what you get in the Arabian Party Kit:

So the next time you need to host a party why not think outside of the box and try an Arabian Nights party! Thanks for stopping by and til next time happy crafting!

Kick it!

I think soccer must me the most popular kids sport out there. In my neck of the woods it is a 3 season game: Spring soccer, fall soccer and soccer camp in the summer and for all of the die-hard soccer players there are indoor soccer fields. Wow, that is a lot of soccer! I bet a lot of kids would love a soccer themed birthday party, how fun would it be to let a gaggle of kids loose in the backyard with a bunch of balls to, well, have a ball! With that in mind I designed a new soccer party kit with SVG cutting files and printables to create the soccer party of their dreams! Here is a look at some of the printables:

My favorite is the cupcake wrapper, how fun!

A fun and easy (not to mention inexpensive) way to decorate for a soccer party would be to get a piece of green outdoor carpet cut to fit your table (a picnic table outside would be perfect) and put all of the food and party stuff on top. It would look like a mini soccer field! After the party you can simply hose off the table, carpet and all. Now that’s my kind of clean up 😀

The printable invites come in two parts so you can print both the inside and outside for a slick look and to save time!

You get 11 printable 8.5″x11″ sheets and 6 SVG cutting files all for $5. Here is a look at the soccer party kit:

Also today I wanted to share this weeks Dollar Deals with you, they will be on sale until next Wednesday and then they go back to full price, get them quick while there a buck!

Let’s Get this Party Started!

Happy Friday! I have been busy this week planning my sons birthday party, this year he wants to have an arcade party so I designed an Arcade Party Printable set that includes invitations, favor bags, cupcake wrappers and toppers, candy bar wrappers and thank you notes plus my 30% off Spooktacular Sale is going on so you can snag the entire set for $3.50! I also think this would be darling if you were having a video game sleepover party!

There is so much in this kit and the favor and quick, easy and inexpensive to make!

I used to be leery of printing bright graphics on my home printer due to the cost of ink but a few months a go I tried off-brand ink for my HP photosmart printer (I bought it through amazon.com marketplace from the seller vivamart-no affiliation though:) I got all 6 HP02 ink carts for $10 and free shipping, I’ve replaced many of the inks and as you can see from my photos the colors are bright and crisp with the cheap ink! It used to cost me $70 for that much ink at Staples, what a deal!

This adorable candy bar wrapper is 5.25"x5.25" and cover candy bars such as Nestle Crunch©, Nestle Aero©, Hershey© Milk Chocolate,Special Dark©, Hershey© with Almonds, Mr. Goodbar© No text is on the wrapper, you can type or write what you like or leave it blank 🙂

I love the candy bar wrapper! Jacks birthday is a week before Halloween so I’m not sure if parents will be cool with me handing these out to the guests but they are just so cute! I havent decided what to give as favors yet, maybe some of the small plastic pinball games from the party favor isle at Target, they will easily fit in either of the favor bags. The large one cuts from one sheet of 8.5″x11″ caredstock but the small one cuts 2 to a sheet and that is included in the Arcade Party Printable kit too. Here you can see the difference in size, the large one is3″wide, 1.5″ deep and 4.5″ high, the small one is 2.5″ wide, 1″ deep and 3.75″ high:

If you want custom text on yout printables add it before printing! I changed my text color to white so it stands out and uses less ink!

The invitation and Thank you notes are 5″x7″ with a full .25 bleed (that is handy if you want them professionally printed or if you are an invitation company-yes commercial use is available!) or you can print them at home as I did, the invitation I printed flat just by typing my text over the arcade game screen:

No text or wording is on the invitation, you can do that on your computer:)

But for the Thank you note I printed it as a folded card but you could easily use it as a flat card and type or write your thank-yous in the white space:

the words "thank You" ARE already printed on this card.

Th cupcake wrappers are 4 to a 8.5″x11 sheet so no paper is wasted and you get 20 toppers that can be punched out with a 1.5″ circle punch on another 8.5″x11″ sheet:

Is there anything cuter than cupcakes and candybars with custom wrappers? I don't think so.

Here is a look at the Arcade Party Printable set, remember it is 30% off along with everything else through tomorrow at Lindsay’s stamp stuff!

Remember 30% off everything until Saturday night at Lindsay’s Stamp Stuff!
