The coolest thing about being an aunt is that you don’t have to be the fuddy-duddy responsible mom, you can have fun!
Digital Stamps: Lindsay's Stamp Stuff, Pattern paper: American Crafts and Autumn Leaves, Stickers: EK Success, ATB
A friend took this photo of me holding my sister’s baby last week when he was just hours old. Cute!
I wanted a funky look so I used my new Wood Grain Background stamp and printed it on an ink-jet transparency (make sure you print on the rough side!) and I hand wrote my journaling on my Library Card digital stamp for a funky look. I adhered the transparency to my layout with red acrylic paint, I also used the red paint on assorted foam stamps to stamp the word “hip”. I cut the shaped background paper with my cricut and SCAL software.
Have a wonderful Wednesday folks, It is raining here and I have a new audio book to listen too while I craft and baked beans in the crock pot, ahhhhh. Till next time happy crafting 😉
Printable Bingo Card: Lindsays stamp Stuff, Letters: Sizzix bar dies used with craft foam, punch: Martha Stewart
and I must admit i feel pretty cool to scrap a photo the day I took it! When my son came home I asked how school went and her had a great report! I wrote my jornaling on the Library Card and attached it to a tag and slid it in the scallop pocket that you can download for free from this post. The Bingo Cards are new in the Lindsay’s Stamp Stuff Shop today. you get a sheet of 6 printable cards that you can use over and over. The background is white so to get a vintage look I simply printed it on cream cardstock. This saves your ink cartridges too! Here is a preview of the bingo cards:

We have another hidden freebie this week and it is a spooky one! Be sure to check out the Design Team’s blogs to find it and see the terrific work they have for you this week:
On a sad note one of the original members of the design team passed away this week, Michelle Hale was jogging Monday morning when she was hit by a vehicle, my heart goes out to her family and friends, she will be missed greatly in the stamping community as well.
Thanks so much for stopping by, til next time happy crafting.
I made the bracket edge card in PSP and save it as a .jpg file then opened up my handy-dandy Sure Cuts a Lot 2 clicked the “trace” button and poof! saved it as an svg! I imported in to the original scal just to be sure it would cut there too and, good news, it does! Here is the scalloped bracket edge card:
I used brand new paper from DCWV (it’s from the Be Mine and the Mod Retro stacks) The Library Card is one of my Lindsay’s Stamp Stuff digital stamps (only a dollar folks!) and the cute buttons are brand new from Pink Persimmon! This next card is a bit simpler, I used the regular bracket edge card template:
Regilar Bracket-Edge card, download link below 😉 Makes a great minialbum too!
And this one was the easiest! I simply stamped my image and embossed it with white EP on brown card and trimmed it into a circle, hot glued a flower on a 4 1/2″ card, hot glued my stamped panel then hot glued vintage buttons all around. I also used pink metallic rub ons (remember that shiny paste from back in the day) to give the edges of my card and the embossed circle a bit of shabby bling!
I hope you like this freebie! It is very versatile, in fact, I have used this template to make a mini album that I will share with you in a few days 😉 Thanks for stopping by and till next time happy crafting!
