Crafty Cooking: Alien Eggs!

Here is a fun food I made with the kids yesterday, I call them Alien Eggs!

These are easy to make and would even be fun as a classroom treat. You will need 2 packages of Jell-O, cooking spray, gummy worms or other candies, a measuring cup and boiling water. Here’s what to do:

Step 1.  Spray the egg molds with cooking spray and place gummies inside, snap them closed. Put water on to boil.

Step 2. Mix 2 packages Jell-O and 1 1/4 cups of boiling water. Stir for 3 minutes.

Step 3. Fill using a small funnel. You will have enough to make 6 eggs.

You can also pour the mixture in a baking pan and cut them into squares or mix the jello-normally (these eggs will be more dense than regular jello) and pour them in clear glass bowls or small mason jars with the gummy worms inside for a fishing themed treat! Thanks for stopping by and til next time happy crafting!
