A Festive Halloween (or Fall) Banner!

Howdy folks!  Lindsay here with another quick and easy Halloween project. If you were looking for my WOYWW and Ask a Crafter post it will be up later tonight or tomorrow. Luckily I have more Halloween ideas than I know what to do with LOL!

I used burlap ribbon, baker’s twine, mini clothespins and ribbon from Papermart for this project. Also I used cardstock and alphabet stamps and my trusty glue gun. If you don’t have time to whip one of these up before tomorrow simply change the stamping to “Happy Thanksgiving” or “Happy Fall” and you are all set! Happy crafting!

A Halloween Hanging…

…WALL hanging that is! Here is a cute little decoration I stamped for Halloween. I tried my hand at scene stamping (creating a picture using lots of different stamps on one layer of paper) and I rather like how it turned out.

Now, I could not leave the piece as one layer (it just goes against my “More is Better!” nature) so I mounted it on embossed metallic cardstock. Then added some die cut/embossed bats (that I coated with metallic rub ons) with foam tape. I punched a couple of holes at the top for a hanging ribbon, so easy!

BTW I love the cute Halloween trick-or-treater stamps, they are the new cling mount rubber from Hampton Arts (Studio G line) from the dollar bin at AC Moore and when I bought them they rang up at 50 cents a set, no kidding! I was happy to buy them for a dollar so I was extra thrilled 😉

Thanks for stopping by and til next time happy haunting…oh, I mean crafting!
