Hubba Hubba…

Yesterday was my husband’s birthday, I wanted to make a funny card for him, here is what I cam up with using the Sexy Pin-Up Collage Sheet from Nicecrane Designs:

Image: Nicecrane Designs, Text: Word Art in MS word, Cardstock: SU (kraft), DCWV (silver), Dimond plate EB folder: Provocraft

And here is the inside of the card:

Don’t forget to make your matching envelopes while you are at it girls! I used the Envelop Bonanza templates from Lindsay’s Stamp Stuff for mine 🙂

This card qualifies for the Embossing challenge at Craft Your Passion,  the Distressing (I distressed with ink) at Crafty Cardmakers, The Birthday Challenge at the Creative Belli Blog (hi Chrissy! the card base and silver SC is from the scrap-pile), Simon Say’s Stamp, Use Kraft at Gingersnap Creations (second one for this challenge, hop it’s OK:), Pile it on, and Sentimental Sundays.

Thanks for stopping by and til next time happy crafting!

Quick and Pretty!

Wowza, what a beautiful day, we have sunshine and heat in the northeast and all I can say is Yippee! I have something else to say “Yippee” about, I have been asked to be on the Creative team at Nicecrane Designs!!! They have the most amazing Asian and Vintage collage sheets and papers I have ever seen, best yet they are downloadable so I can have them in my hot little hands in seconds! Look what I made with Japanese Patterns Vol1 CS by Nicecrane Designs:

Asian papers: Nicecrane Designs, Rubber Stamps: About Art Accents, Envelope Templates: Lindsay's Stamp Stuff

I used pretty ginko leaf stamps from About Art Accents, I inked up my stamps in plum then rocked the edges in eggplant ink before stamping for a two toned look. If you want to make a quick project choose silhouette style stamps, they pack a punch of color without having to add more color later.

Of course I had to make matching envies! I use the scallop envie template from my Envelope Bonanza kit.

Papers: Nicecrane Designs, Stamps: About Art Accents

I used this weeks sketch at Oriental stamp Art for the above card. This weeks OSA theme is “pearls” so I added a few 🙂 Also “pearls” is the challenge over at Annabelle Stamps. I knew I had to use these yummy Nicecrane Designs papers with this sketch. I used papers from several collage sheets, it was so easy, just print and cut (I didn’t even have to open my image editing software!) The quality of these collage sheets is exquisite! The designs are clean and crisp and the colors are rich! Some of the paper even looks as if it is fleck with metallic gold, I don’t know how because my printer does not have gold ink but the paper almost sparkles!

Stamp: About Art Accents, Papers: Nicecrane, Punch: Fiskars

I’m just thrilled that I get to work with all of the fabulous products that Nicecrane Designs has and that they go perfectly with my stamps from About Art Accents, two great companies! If you want to try Nicecrane Designs products before you buy be sure to visit their blog where you can snag some freebies and be sure to check back often to grab new ones as they are added, you will love the quality!

Thanks for stopping by and till next time happy crafting!

Happy NSD, 30% Off, and a Video!

Howdy folks! It is a beautiful Saturday in the northeast, I’m sure many a lady is heading out to all day crops and scrapbook retreats in honor of national scrapbooking day (have fun girls and scrap a page for me!) and in honor of that everything in the Lindsay’s Stamp Stuff shop at MyGrafico is 30% off! Including the new Box Bonanza templates I used in this project:

Rubber Stamps: About Art Accents, Box and Envelope Temp;ates: Lindsay's stamp Stuff, Paper: American crafts

This was fun to make, you won’t belive how easy the box and cookies were to make so I made a video:

This was my first time making a stair step card, it was a challenge at Oriental Stamp Art (and fortune cookies was a theme so look at me, 2 challenges done!) here is a better look at the card and matching envelope (or course!)

Stamps: About Art Accents, Envelope Bonanza Templates: Lindsay's stamp Stuff, Paper: American crafts

The card compresses and goes right in an envelope! I use beautiful stamps from About Art Accents and my Envelope Bonanza Templates (30% off today!)

The stair step card neatly squashes down to go in an envelope, I think it is cute how the Geisha is peeking out!

Here is a look at my newest template set: Box Bonanza. You get 6 printable 300dpi jpg templates that you can resize and print directly on your cardstock or pattern paper (I kept any directions on the margins) cut and assemble and 6 SVG files to cut with your Cricut and SCAL software. The are adjustable and resizable too simply by dragging the to the height and with you want, you can make hundreds of different boxes with this one set!

Happy National Scrapbooking day! Til next time happy crafting!
