The word searches are from an earlier post and the chipboard is by Around the Block (they came in the “Mystery Tote” and there were like a hundred of them!) I attached them with Tagger Tails so the chipboard ornaments would jiggle and have fun movement ans so they can be removed from the card to be used as ornaments or scrapbook accents by the recipient. All the paper is by Die Cuts with a view and the stamps are by Inkadinkado and Plaid.

Now the didi-scrappin designers areoun the globe have been outdoing eachother this holiday, man, I’m worried about filling up my hard drive LOL! here are a few if my faves this week:

Free Bingo Cards for you!

Don’t you love the trend, started by Jenny Bolin I believe, of using bingo cards on scrapbook layouts? Don’t you wish you could customize them for whatever type of page you are making? Well, Now you can. I created some bingo cards in Paint Shop Pro and saved them as jpg files so you can download, print and stamp them! Here’s what I made with one:

To download the bingo card with number and a blank header (used in the layout) you can stamp click here.

You’re The Man card and markers on sale!

Hi there, here is another card I did using Bic Mark-Its and a Prismacolor blender to get the look of Copics. If you want to read my faux Copic tutorials you can check them out here and here. I just got my Jerry’s Artarama catalogue in the mail yesterday and their Prismacolor markers are on sale for $2 each! If you don’t already have a colorless blender now is a good time to grab one since they are $4+ in stores! Also I have a $10 off coupon code: JAJB082 (not sure if it’s an “o” or a zero) and it good on ANY size order! A nice chance to stock up on some pastel shades or colors where you want a nice fine tip or a good wide one. So here is the card I made, I’m a girly-girl so manly cards do not come easily!

Yes, those are pink tagger tails on the card, their all I had, gimme a break will ya! Word to the wise, make sure you don’t do what I did and punch your taggertails through the back of the card or it will not open…one of those days. Keep crafting and enjoy the sale!

2 Tips: I used my Sizzix Gelly-o dies to make the bookplate out of a scrap of mat board. Ask your local framer if you can have some scraps and you can make custom chipboard embellishment with you Sizzix, big shot or other old fashioned die cut machine! Also I cut the Thank You stamp apart so it would fit in the frame.

PS if you are in the central Maine area on September 6 2008 check out my sister’s shop: Bry-ann’s Art’s and Crafts rt. 202 Lakeview Drive in China Maine 968-2498. She will have the entire store on sale 40% off the entire day! She has the brand spanking new BoBunny fall and winter papers in (she is waiting for the sale to get them out!) plus new Core’denations (spelling yikes!) card stock plus yarn, fabric, Windsor & Newtons full line of artists paints, tole painting supplies and more. If you are local don’t miss this sale! There, now you have had you fill of daily propaganda!

3 hours to myself, a painting and my new Around the Block tote!

Ahhhh, I had a fabulous morning, 3 hours to myself, I finished a card and started and almost finished a painting. It’s my first oil painting in over a year! I’m glad I can still remember how! I’ve been scared to have the solvents out with so many little peeps around but they were at a friends house today so I got out my paints to play. I’ll post it in a few days when I am done…there I said it now I’ll have to finish it!

I got a cool goodie bag from my mother the other day. It is by Around the Block and it is a mystery bag packed with scrapbook goodies and a surprise tool. My sis has them in her shop “Bry-Anns Arts and Crafts” 207 968-2498. I normally don’t go for the grab bags or kit clubs because I have a massive stash already and wouldn’t want to get a duplicate or something I would never use but holy cow, check out what came in this bag:

Lucky me! In the kit was the tool I really wanted but couldn’t justify buying because I didn’t know If I would really use it…The Phrase Maker! I’ve had my eye on it for a while and I couldn’t believe it was in there! Plus 4 inks, 11 rolls of stickers for the Phrase Maker, 20+ sheets of doublesided cardstock pattern paper, ginormus bag of chipboard with eyelets already in them perfect for my ATB tagger gun, clipper & clipper clips, epoxy alphabet stickers, oodles of soft rubbery embellishments, stick pins, ribbon and frames! How cool is that and if you don’t have a sister who owns a store you can still buy it for only $40! Its over $100 worth of stuff. My sis just got these in and if you’ve got to have one call the above # and ask for the craft department or if you are in China, Maine stop in and see for yourself! PS If you are one of the crafty ladies who comes to my monthly craft nights let me know and I’ll grab one for you!
