Live Painting Class Today 12 noon ET: Paint a Pocketwatch with me!

Hi friends, I had a lot of requests to do a tutorial of this vintage pocket watch I painted during world watercolor month so here we are! Here is the reference photo I took with a strong shadow. The shadow is what really inspired me!

We will draw together but feel free to print this out and trace it if you are not comfortable drawing it (I promise I will break it down easily for you tho.) Here is the painting from my sketchbook:

You can watch the live broadcast or the replay in the player below. If you want to chat live or ask me questions be sure to tune in at 12 noon ET today on the YouTube watch page.

  1. Lindsey, can you refresh us regarding YouTube changes. For example, I am now watching on my Smart TV and recently found out I can “Like” videos . I want to know if I skip ads, does it count for you or must I watch the whole ad? Do you decide where to break for ads? Do you choose the ads for your channel? Is there any way for us to contact YouTube directly regarding ads? Thanks for everything you do for us.

    1. I don’t pick what ads are shown or when they break for ads. I know they tend to put more ads on sat chats rather than tutorials. I don’t know why, I guess they are more valuble videos. They pay the bills better than tutorials LOL! I think for me to get paid for an ad view it needs to be watched for 30 seconds or in it entirety if it is under 30 seconds. YouTube changes stuff all the time so it’s hard to keep up.
