Altenew Hawaiian Shores Dual Brush Pen Review

Hi, friends! Today we are going to look at a new set of 12 Hawaiian Shores markers from Altenew. I’ll also be showcasing an image from their new watercolor paper coloring book which is nice when you don’t have time (or don’t want) to stamp an image. *Affiliate links used.

Pros:

  • Price
  • Nice color selection
  • Felt tip brush and fineliner nibs Blends out easily with water
  • Doesn’t bleed or feather when alcohol markers are used on top
  • Matches other Altenew products

Cons:

  • Only 12 colors

The bottom line, these markers are familiar to me because I have similar ones from Ohuhu. I have a video showing many techniques for them here. They are a budget alternative to Tomobw but will not be as durable. Still, if you wanted to try out this type of marker before investing in Tombow or a larger set of another budget brand it is a good choice. I hope you found this helpful and til next time happy crafting!
