  2. I Love love loved this video! Whenever you do anything that has so many techniques going on at once, I have to stop multitasking, and even then it’s a little hard to follow for me, but I’m sure that’s a me problem, not a you problem. Did you use the snow marker for the snow on the tree? And how do you get white snowflakes from a stamp? The snow marker I bought last year for the lantern cards is messed up I think, it wouldn’t put out any product, then it would suddenly gush everywhere (but hey, that pushed me over the edge and now I wear my apron, so there’s a silver lining in everything. I was thinking about starting my Christmas cards soon, but we’re supposed to be tearing out the carpet and getting hard flooring in my paint studio and sewing room, so I’m putting off the projects that I know will involve digging through what I have, because I can’t FIND half of the things I am looking for! It’s getting a bit deepish and Hobbitty in here.

Also, do you know how to make textile medium? To make acrylic paint soft after it dries and help to keep it from washing out in the laundry too I suppose..

    Thanks! Nickie Huennekens

    • I used the Ranger glitter spritzer to apply a fine goat of glitter. if you have that it might be that your glitter isn’t fine enough and it’s clogging. I used embossing powder with the snowflake stamp to get the bright white snowflakes (I inked over it and the embossing powder resisted the ink.) Textile medium is a flexible gel medium, I recommend Plaid textile medium, it is affordable and can be mixed with any waterbased product. You can’t make it cheaper and it probably wouldn’t work as well.
