Happy mothers day Lindsay hope you have a great one .I would love to win these markers as i lost all my craft supplies in my storage unit about a year ago when money was tight and sadly we lose everything we owned but what we had with us at the hotel but hey could be worse i still have my 4 kids and husband and our furry babies hopefully its gets better as this year has been awful between my daughter suddenly having a major brain surgery to remove what thank god was not cancer to my husband out of work from all that is going on in the world but my sad story is over as i know all we have been through so many have it worse but btw I’m in maryland! I always enjoy your blogs. I have invested substantially in Zig water brush markers and use them all the time. For that reason I don’t have any alcohol markers but if I’m lucky enough to be selected, it would be a perfect as I would have a large enough collection to try out the alcohol markers. The markers you used seem to be juicy and blend easily. First time I’ve seen these markers. Hopefully, they will do markers with a brush tip in the future. Not sure I could blend as well as you do with the chisel tip.
The perfume bottle stamp and die set is pretty darn cute. I think it would be great to fancy cut the center panel and pop it out too.

Hi Lindsay! I’m a mom of 2 daughters, and won’t have a great mother’s day this year, but I wanted you to know, I LOVE watching your videos. At lease when they are about card making.
I live in Southern Calif, near Disneyland, but haven’t been there for about 30 years!
The perfume bottles a so pretty the way you colored them.
Would love these markers, too expensive normally for me to consider. I usually use watercolor pencils.

Surprisingly, when I went to my 30-year-old son’s house for Thanksgiving, after all the families went to bed he pulled out some paper and alcohol markers and gave me a drawing lesson! You could have knocked me over with a feather, but I was so happy.

Omg this would be amazing I live in Pennsylvania western part I’ve been wanting to try alcohol markers forever! But as a mom of 5 with 3 of them under 3 youngest is 8 months lol it’s hard to spend the extra money my kids are 12 5 3 18 months and 8 months plus my husband has 2 kids at 16 and 6 as well from a previous Marriage so that’s been on the back burner and bc of the pandemic and him loosing his job we’re really tight with spending but this would be awesome! Love your channel it helps keep me sane haha

I’ve only just started trying to mess around Sharpie markers. But the best effects I’ve gotten with blending, using a water brash with alcohol in it. And using dye ink from pads for the color. I’ve just been hoping to find a good set very low price tag because I’m the one who wants and uses every color from the collection. Book I also have zero budget for craft supplies.

Remember you telling us how to refresh alcohol markers. Now I need to be refreshed on what you said. Also, any suggestions on how to refresh my stazon ink pad. Happy Mothers Day to you too, my crafty friend. I loved your cards and love watching you work. I love alcohol markers but they are so costly so I only have a handful and its hard to use them cause I dont have enough of the same colors for shading so basically they just sit pretty in my little box. I started buying copics one or two at a time at $8-10 a marker and I would write my colors down and forget to bring my list, and couldnt remember what I had so bought colors I knew I didnt have and they ended up not matching with anything LOL or I would remember my list but they were out of the colors I needed, Just didnt have the money to buy a set all at once so thats why they dont get used much.LOL. QUESTION: I missed this sale, so I am going to buy Ohuhu or Bianyo markers. Would you suggest less markers and the brush tip or more markers and the fine tip. I am not sure how fine the fine tip is in the Ohuhu markers as opposed to the brush tip, or which tip may last longer. Thanks in advance! I have watched your reviews of these and other markers and narrowed it down to Ohuhu and Bianyo

no worries, I’m glad I saw it (sometimes comments on contest get buried as there are so many) It totally depends. The brush tip on the Bianyo brush markers are very similar to copics as they don’t fray. The ohuhu brush pens are leass money per pen but have a felt tip that would fray more easily but they are reversible so you can flip it around if that happens. The Ohuhu are stiffer so it depends if you like a firmer or softer tip. Both are good, compare the color selection too to see what meets you needs.

Hi from Oregon! Thank you for continuing to do card making videos once a week. Any suggestions for incorpoarating Kraft paper from grocery bags in cards? I have a bunch to spare now that we can’t reuse paper bags at the grocery store.

Try embossing it and brushing the raided areas with pastel colored paint, it looks great. You can also wet and crumple it and then run a brown inkpad over it for a faux leather look.
