  24. Hi Lindsay! I painted along with you – sorta, I paused a LOT and had to redo some stuff a FEW times, it was a relief when you scrubbed out your hinges! Yay! I know you still make mistakes, as do we all, so for that it’s ok that my paving stones got redone, lifted, too dark, too fussy, scrubbed and lifted and then just suggested in the end… yellow ochre is my friend! Check your email, I’m sending you a picture of my painting next to yours, mine is a LOT warmer, but that’s okay, I kinda like it! And my BIG secret? It’s my first ACTUAL PAINTING. So far in your Teachable Watercolor Flowers class, I’ve managed brushstrokes and that’s it. I got all stuck on getting started with the lilacs, I think because lilacs are my favorite and I didn’t want to mess them up! Anyway, thank you for sticking a success under my belt, I’m going to take a swing at those lilacs tomorrow. 😀
