Supplies:

  • Cardboard (I used the smart art box)
  • Kraft paper (brown bag is fine)
  • Spray bottle of water
  • Pearl Ex & Gum arabic (from smart art box)
  • Bristol ATC pack (from smart art box) https://amzn.to/2HlfTOA *or cut bristol or cardstock to 2.5″x3.5″
  • Ribbon
  • Mod Podge or white glue
  • Hot glue

You can make these books from your recycling bin. It would be a fun project to do with a group of kids as well. If working with kids I recommend making the tabs larger so they have more room to tape and let an adult do the hot glue part. Making books is fun, I am not sure why I enjoy it so much but I do. Especially tiny ones! Thanks for stopping by and til next time happy crafting!

  1. I’ve used old hanging folders to make faux leather and it gives a great texture. It also is a great way to use up those folders when they no longer are needed.

  2. I like using my huge stash of scraps to make projects. Adorable mini book Lindsay!
