  1. You are killing my bank account! I want all of these. Beautiful cards. I have to finish my chalk pastel and watercolor class (2!) before I can jump into these. I really need background stamps like you used…that’s a definite. Thanks, Lindsay. I enjoyed all the artists on the blog hop.

    1. Sorry about that Martha! If it helps these images are wonderful to color with alcohol markers too or even quickly with chalks:)

  2. I learn so much from you. Love your cards. Going to have to get a resist crayon now. I can see it as very useful for the beginner with a heavy hand, me.

  3. Lindsay, How fun to find you on this Topflight 2nd anniversary blog hop.
Your Lavinia stamps/ fairies in a bell jar cards is what introduced me to them. Thanks! Love the stamps they sell, love your inspiring videos. These cards are wonderful and I’ve already pulled out some stamps I own to try these techniques.

  4. I went through the hop, your videos with hints, explanations and tid bits are the best. Yes I got info from some of the others and new techniques. You understand the mind of an artist and move in for details turn the paper, explain why you do certain things and why someone else may prefer another way of getting a similar result. Thank you Lindsey…again and again. 🙂 PS Pretty card.

  5. Ah Lindsay, I love the way you explain things so well for someone like me who is not so very creative on my own steam & needs good instruction. I think your cards are fabulous! I am so appreciative each time I see a video of yours & thank you for the time you take to make them, not to mention the way you inspire.

  6. Wow–great video. And the cards are terrific, too. One question–how do you know where you want the white resist to be? Do you do a draft coloring of the stamp first, or, being the genius you are, do you just know? That would be the hardest part for me–knowing where to put the white crayon.

    1. hahaha:) I just “play”! I first add the mask where I want white and paint my lightest color, then mask when I want to keep that light tone and add the next darker color. You will learn by playing, stamp out a bunch and have fun!
