Freshly Baked Cookie Sketchbook Sunday!

Hi friends! I baked a sumptuous batch of vegan peanut butter chocolate chip cookies and decided to draw one before they all got gobbled up! It is a calorie free way to extend the pleasure of sweets!

I really enjoyed drawing this so I probably spent longer than needed on this drawing/painting but I was having so much fun I didn’t want to stop! You can see the time-lapse in the video below. I spent about an hour and a half on this drawing.

Did this tutorial make you want a cookie? I might need to make another batch LOL! Thanks for stopping by and til next time happy crafting!

    • …and the recipe?? Half my family is vegan. Thank you for all you do–in this crazy world–art is what matters : )

  5. yes I want a cookie please

  6. Being allergic to wheat, I will never be able to eat a cookie that looks that yummy! I may not be able to paint it or I may get depressed. LOL

  7. Great job! You make it all look so easy. SIGH! Maybe some day. LOL

  8. Just watched your Sunday sketch. A question, you mentioned the use of the Mimik Sable vs the Mimik Squirrel and since I have not yet started your watercolor class, (in which you probably answered this) what is your reasoning for using that one?

    • I had the size I neded n that line and it is a bit stiffer and I might have been pushing a heavier paint like gouache.

  9. I loved watching every single minute of this. It whet my appetite for both the cookie and the sketch. I could tell one from the other once you finished it.
