Today I have a belated birthday card you can make in about 15 minutes using one of my favorite brands of stamps available at TopFlight stamps: Katzelcraft! I love the expressive characters in all of their stamp sets and every time I add a set to my collection I am thrilled at how well they go together!   17. I’ve had that Rats stamp set as well as the Darkroom Door on my wishlist for some time. You have just convinced me that I “need” them. I use my other Katzelkraft stamps all the time.

    Terrific card and thanks for all the coloring tips. I often try to use too many colors when coloring and it never looks right.

    Masking is awesome (learned it from the Frugal Crafter!). When I get a new stamp set it’s fun to try them out by making a mask right away.

    I need to remember to heat emboss my stamping more often. I like Versafine as it’s the best black ink out there, but I’ve smudged it more than a few times. I also sometimes forget to powder my card, but it’s not as important with the clear embossing powder.

  32. I really do adore Katzelkraft stamps and I love what you did with this card. ❤ But, I really loved your video Lindsay! My favorite part was you holding the stamp in place for a few moments to allow transfer of the ink. I've never seen that before, but know it to be true. Most people either press super hard to get a good impression or rock the stamp. What you really need to do is just hold it still for a few moments. Bravo for you! Today's my b-day too! Yay! Thanks for your Blog entry!!!

  44. I love the card. I missed the printing in the card. Is that a stamp or did you write the sentiment? I’ve been looking for cute belated stamps, I have an issue with mailing cards ont time. 🙂
