Today we are going to use some different pigments than usual, 2 are simple pigments and 3 are mixed pigments. I will tell you all about the benefits to each kind of paint and I will also give alternatives so bring whatever paint you have to follow along, we will get you through it! Here is a color study and swatch, use whatever you have that is closest!

  3. Beautiful Poinsettia Watercolor Lindsay…I will be painting a mini version soon! I got watercolor cards to paint on, Yeah! Fridays are too busy for me to paint with you but I usually get to eat lunch with you painting, Sarah, and Chewy.   4. Hi Lindsay, I loved this video and downloaded the sketch you had provided. When I printed it out it was VERY light. I thought it was my toner being low so we added more toner and printed it again. It is still very light, almost to light to see to be able to use it. Could you go over the sketch and make it darker please? This is most likely my favorite watercolor picture you have ever done. Thanks always.

  5. Hi Lindsay! I am intrigued with the Quin. Alizarin Crimson color you used for this tutorial. When looking for it, I couldn’t find it in the QOR colors (individual tubes). They had a Quin. Crimson (PR122, PR206–it looks far bluer than your color), but nothing with Quin. Alizarin Crimson (PR177). Does it only come in a set?

    1. Maybe I misspoke, it is permanent alizarin crimson if I used a Qor color because I only have the ones in the sets.
