Plein Air Post Card #2: Fields Pond

Hi Friends! I am officially on vacation for a week but never fear, I have planned tutorials for you in my absence, it will be like I never left LOL!

A few of you asked me to do tutorials of the plein air watercolors I have been doing lately so I have!

I am using Winsor & Newton watercolors:
perm rose, yellow ochre, winsor lemon, Windsor green, ultramarine, pthalo blue, burnt sienna

grab your watercolors and paint along! Til next time happy crafting!

  1. That is so nice of you to do this for us!
I love the watercolor videos no matter what you paint and plein air painting is just what we need right now.
I also saw you made yourself some panorama paper blocks, how do you like them? I also found out some flowers look nicer on that shape of paper if you turn it upright, like hollhocks and other tall flowers.
I hope you are having a nice time!

    • Sorry, I mean hollyhocks of course (and delphiniums, iris, crown imperial etc.). My brain doesn’t work before I get my morning mug of tea …..

  2. I love all your stuf.I was really struggling before I met you. All your encouragement has brought me such joy, I now paint at least a picture a day. Some fast, some longer. I want to thank you for all you do for those of us hungry to learn.

Tell me what YOU think!
