Awesome weekend! Great students! New friends and STAMPS!

Hi friends! I wanted to post this Saturday but i could not get wifi or good enough cell reception from the stamp show. I am home safe and will have a haul soon! Friday i taught classes and Saturday and Sunday i got to shop. I was blessed with fearless artists as students in both of my mixed media classes! I wish I was as savvy as other bloggers and got more pictures of everyone but I did manage to get a few of the first class.

I really need to thank Kathy for assisting me in these classes. I would not have been able to pull off these large classes without her support. Kathy, Lorraine and I wanted to live stream last night but the WiFi was not sufficient in the hotel ( it was like dial up internet circa 1996 lol.) But that was OK because we got to spend time with all the new stamp show friends we met! Have a great rest of your weekend and til next time happy crafting!

  1. Are these the same crayons that are used with pergamano? On Jun 5, 2016 11:06 PM, “Thefrugalcrafters Weblog” wrote:

  3. Sorry I missed the West Springfield show, and you crazy, wonderful girls! Looks like a good time was had by all! I did manage to drag my Husband to a show in Syracuse N.Y. the weekend before( a four hour drive from Toronto). I still managed to dent my wallet a little with some new stamps ,alcohol inks, Yuppo paper, wink of Stella, and some other specialty paper. We will meet face to face again I’m sure.

  4. So pleased to meet you in person at the show. As pretty in real life as in your pictures!
Loved the class pic with the “women” sign heading! LOL. Women coming together to create art and support each other. Doesn’t get any better than that.
Look forward to seeing your “haul” post. I, too, did some damage to my pocketbook. The Springfield convention is so much fun. Great vendors and a great chance to meet up with friends. Look forward to seeing you again next year!

  5. I had the best time with a fabulous group of women. Was inspired by so much creativity to stretch out of my creative comfort zone.

Next year I’m going to be able to stay for the Stamp Show! Can’t wait.

Thanks again to Lindsey and Kathy for a wonderful time.

  6. What an amazing time with an incredible instructor!! One of the most fun afternoons I have ever had! All the ladies were just so super nice and funny. It takes a lot of mental prep and planning for me to do this stuff so if you were in the class just know that you were part of something major in my life….and meaningful to-boot. Thank you to both Lindsay and Kathy for doing such a great job! Hoping we can do it again next year!!!

  7. It was nice to see you at the show I hope you will be able to do another post on the Zig pens and thank you for answering some questions for me about them. I’m also looking forward to your post of what you found at the show this year and sharing what your will be making with your finds. I hope to be able to take one of your classes next year if you decide to do one again.

  8. I’ve been painting with you for a few months and having a great time! Would you ever consider Sourtheast Florida as a teaching destination? I’m a beginner water color painter living on the east coast of FL between Ft. Lauderdale and West Palm Beach. Great weather all year round. Just think about it😊
