Just a quick Summer card!

Howdy! I spent the day at the beach today, it was looking pretty sketchy this morning but it turned out to be a glorious 85 degree sunny day! I have to stock up on enough vitamin D to get me through the long Maine winter dont’cha know. I made this card yesterday for the #lovesummerart YouTube collab and it was easy and fun using some new goodies from Simon Says Stamp:

Video!

Supplies:

Stitched Flourish Ribbon Die
My Sunshine Stamps
Happy Block Greetings Stamps
Inks: High Dive, Sunkist, Sunflower
Envelope board
White cardstock
Glue
Pattern paper for envelope and card liner
Spray ink
Blending tool: Color duster

I hope this inspires you to make a quick, fun summery card or at least spend a day at the beach Thanks for stopping by and til next time happy crafting!

  3. Great quickie card, Ms. Maine. I will have to make some for my Maine friends and tell ‘me who showed me how, from the next town over. They are in Cape Elizabeth. Going to come see you someday!

  5. Lindsay, Just came out of my craft room. I’ve been making a birthday card for my 7 year old grandson. I just wanted to tell you how much your videos have helped me to have more confidence in my abilities. My cards are getting better with each one I make and the techniques I am learning from you are invaluable. I just wanted to say “thank you”!!!
