Peerless Watercolors Review and Giveaway!

Hi Friends! Today I am trying Peerless watercolors for the first time! Beth at Olivemeartsie sent me 2 sets of theses handmade mini wallets of Peerless paints she makes so I am giving one away to a viewer. Leave a comment and “Like” this post (there is a like button at the bottom of the post) for a chance to win. 😀 For a second chance you can give my video a “thumbs up” and leave a comment on the YouTube page too. All enteries will go into the hat. I will draw a winner next Wednesday and announce it here on my blog. Watch the video to see how they perform and see if it is yet ANOTHER watercolor product you must have LOL!

The stamps I used are by SimonSaysStamp and they also offer matching dies. If you want to see the glitter technique let me know in the comments and if anyone is interested I can make a tutorial on that too.

My sponsor this month is RichMomBusiness. If you’re thinking of starting a craft business online, make sure you check out
her FREE Handmade Training Course. Good luck in the drawing! Thanks so much for stopping by and til next time happy crafting!

  1. These watercolors look amazing. Thank you for sharing and thank you and Beth for the wonderful give away opportunity. If using them with a stamp, do they need a deeper cleaning than when using dye inks as the pigments are made of minerals? Thank you again. LOVE your videos. ~Mari~

  15. What an inspirational giveaway! I discovered Peerless when researching hand-tinted photographs. Peerless has been around since 1885 when it was used for hand coloring photographs. I believe the current owner, Creative Mode, is only the fourth owner since Nicholson’s Peerless Transparent Watercolors was developed.

So these might be the answer to my problem. I really enjoy your tutorials. Thank you for the chance to own these.

  44. Thanks for a review of these watercolors. “Everyone” was using them for a while and said they were “the best”. LOL! Now they’ve all moved on to the Gansai Tambi and are saying they’re “the best”. It’s nice to see a review that is honest. I don’t guess I’m eligible for a chance at the prize. I am a subscriber to your blog, but I don’t do Facebook so I can’t do the “like” stuff. Bummer to miss out on so many chances to win prizes on the web because i choose not to take part in in such a colossal waste of time as social media!

Slowly but surely I’m getting there. I guess that’s what happens when you take years off the things you love to raise a family…but my family is so worth it!

  50. I was able to try some watercolour pencils about 5 yrs ago and loved them. I began drawing, colouring & painting around that time. I loved the way they coloured solidly, like u were painting instead of colouring. I went out to buy my own set after & found they were too expensive & really couldn’t afford them. Needless to say, I would be “blown away”, if I won this set. I will dig out some of the pics I did with the pencils 5 years ago and post an example. They are still some of my fave colouring pages.

  56. Beautiful! I haven’t tried anything like this yet. My husband was cleaning out his art bag one day and handed me a set of Velox Water Color. I haven’t used them yet as they make me very nervous! They are so old, they disinagrate (?) when they are touched. One day I’ll work up the nerve! lol

  57. I love watching your watercolor tutorials. I’m traditionally an oil painter but have been trying to learn watercolor also. Sometimes, I take my tablet and set it up so I can paint along with your tutorial. It has helped me with many techniques that are difficult to master. I really like the Peerless paints for their vividness. This pack seems like it would be fun to try en plein air. I hope I win!! Happy Crafting!!
