January Updates & Christmas Cards from You!

Hi friends! Happy New Year! I just wanted to pop in and let you know what is (and isn’t) in store for you this month on my blog and YouTube channel!

I am really hoping I get some boring case for jury duty, I can’t even stand to watch crime shows (besides Elementary or Castle) I have always been too sensitive I guess…I hope to get dull insurance case or something. Hopefully I will get selected for a case right away and I will not have to serve 15 days but you never know, that is why I want to explain if I am a bit lax this month. I’m not sure what will happen with Ask a Crafter for January, Lorraine is flying south for the rest of the winter I think and I do not know what availability I will have to meet up with Kathy and shoot. I might just have to pull a few questions myself and record solo as I have time. Thanks to everyone who wished me well over the holidays and don’t worry, I will still be putting out the crafty goodness but maybe every other day instead of daily. Please keep checking in! Thanks for stopping by and til next time happy crafting!

  1. Happy New Year 2015! Sorry about the jury duty. Seems like when I retired they called me every 6 months until I got old enough to say no thank you. Lucky for me I never got picked to actually serve. Will miss your daily videos. But think I’d love your questions and answers by yourself. Love your friends, but like it better when you do it along. 1. No, I don’t have a U tube channel. The card I made was done from a cut file I purchased from Thyme Graphics, all I did was cut it, glitter it and glue it together. Glad you liked it, I can’t take the credit though. ~Diane

  3. Props to you for doing jury duty
    Hope the time goes swiftly
I salute you, for serving doing so is an interruption in life, inconvenient etc… But so necessary for our judicial system…thanks Lindsey

  8. Happy New Year! I have never served on a jury but my husband and daughter did. It is interesting to hear about their experiences after the trials were done. Hopefully your time will go fast. I agree with you about non-gross crime shows. Can’t wait for the new Castle episodes to begin😄

  11. Castle and Elementary are the only 2 shows I watch also. Plus Masterpiece. But then there’s Netflix -sigh. Can you take hand work to jury duty?
