Christmas tag workshop and a winner!

Hi Friends! Today I am going to show you a quick way to batch out some Christmas tags but first I need to announce the winner of the Art Neko stamp giveaway! The winner is…Faith Newkirk Harris! Congrats! I have sent you an email, reply to that to get your prize! I wanted to post a quick project tonight using some of the lovely Art Neko Christmas stamps in my collection and I wanted to use my homemade (faux Wink of Stella) glitter pens so I came up with this and hey, we all need more gift tags this time of year!

Sure these are simple but I think they are cute and useful and I really like the way the glitter pens turned out. I am glad it was able to go over the Tombow markers without smearing, that is the power of heat setting folks! Do you think they look like Wink of Stella pens? I have never used the real McCoy so you will have to let me know:) Thanks to Art Neko for providing the giveaway and thank you for stopping by and til next time happy crafting!

  1. these are awesome. I don’t think gift cards or cash is tacky. I love that idea. For years I would shop early, start shopping in July, just to find that perfect gift for each member of my extended family… I thought that was the way, boy was I wrong… LOL, one of my brother’s kids spilled the beans and told me that they collected all the gifts they rec for christmas and returned them all, for the cash… as you can imagine I was not happy. After that year, I just hand out gift cards or cash and only make handmade for those who will really use it.

  2. Hi Lindsay, gorgeous tags! The pens you made look great, can’t wait to try them! I’ve dubbed them “Wink of Lindsay” pens! As for your gift card/cash dilemma, I’ve been there. I’ve been doing the VISA gift card thing lately because it can be used pretty much anywhere, even online, and I feel that the recipient will be more likely to get themselves an actual present rather than stuff the cash in their wallet and end up buying toilet paper or toothpaste out of it, not thinking. Anyhoo, just a thought! Happy Saturday:).
