Enough of them and you can make one-season bird houses with the kids, Decorate for Valentine mail-boxes for school or home (maybe to collect cards for the troupes?)
I need to check how you make your sponge daubers with the caps and facial sponges. Size caps? cut sponges?

Regarding your box, if you have small containers of things, like card embellishments (brads, jewels, etc.) or even beads, you could put those in your box and fill it up. In fact, re card embellishments, if your hole punch, small containers and whatever else you need to use those items were in that box, you could quickly pick it up and head out the door on your way to a card group, knowing you had all the supplies you need for working with those embellishments.
For your beads, you can have all your beads in their little containers in that box as well as your wire or whatever else you need to make your bracelet, earrings, or necklace all in one container when you need to head out the door for a doctor’s visit.

One more thing re your box, decorate it up so anyone who sees it might strike up a conversation about your container. Who knows, you might even have started a new trend with the decorated box!

You could use the Joe boxes to collect all kinds of scraps to be used in future projects. Periodically opening and sorting or just checking what is there when you need a little piece of something.

I would definitely use it for a ‘file’ type of storage. Stamps would be great because you could have the larger at the back and smaller in the front! If needed, you could follow the original angle of the sides to shorten.

@Bonnie…great idea! there used to be a show on HGTV?,long ago that had a segment ‘trash to treasures’ cant remember who’s show had that series, but Ms. Carol Duvall was the queen of crafts and could turn anything from trash to treasure for sure! I think Lindsay can do that and so much more! and would be great at this for yet another series!! 🙂 she is the ‘new’ Queen of crafts!! 🙂

You can get cheap cheap cheap plastic blocks at plastics stores (in my area, that would be Taps Plastics). They have a bin with leftover acrylic blocks or sheets from work orders near the checkout stand. Often I can pick them up for less than a dollar!

The first thing I thought of was one of those magazine storage thingies. I’m going to keep an eye out and if you make one…then I’ll know how to do it too! 🙂

I am soooooooooo glad to see someone else hoarding cardboard boxes, etc. I really do not want a camera crew in my craft room! when you find a support group, please let me know. I came across chameleon markers at markerpop.com. They graduate on their own from light to dark. kind of cool-maybe for the lazy crafter!! (me)-love love you guys and you are just stinkin cute! Your “Ask a Crafter” video was great, I’ve learned so much. The Box-o-Joe is an ideal box to store some crafts, small items, files; Also add a label on the outside of the box so you know what the box contains.

I love saving boxes too! but in this case I save the plastic inserts from the box of Joe and rinse it out and save them. When we go camping I fill them with water and freeze them and use them as ice bags for the coolers. I also keep some frozen and at the ready for our frequent power outages. Love your show! you all do a fantastic job. I always learn something. Thanks for all the fun,

Lindsey I just have to say thank you, I discovered your you tube channel recently and I have been enjoying you so much. You have encouraged me to try new things and to be creative again and I can’t tell you how much I have missed it. love the ask a crafter but sometimes I miss info because someone is speaking softly or turns from the camera. Lynsey, could you repeat the question and then answer it. That would help a lot. also, I like it when you spell a new item as well as say it. That helps too.

Lindsey: You are fantastic. I cannot adequately tell you how much I enjoy your videos.. especially your water color demonstrations. You make it look so easy but for me it is not. Did you go to art school or major in art in college? You are a real inspiration.

Hey tHere lovely ladies! You are all so wonderful! I have become such a frugal crafter you tube addict. The box looks like it would be a great stencil storage file. You could also use your stencils to decorate it so you would know what stencils you have inside! I need your help! I have a load of pearl Ex and all of the Perfect Pearls tools, mediums, pens, but only one (1) pot of perfect pearls. Can I use the pearl ex just like perfect pearls? Does it also have a binder in it? Just trying to NOT buy a set of Perfect Pearls if I can just use the pearl ex instead! Mahalo, Star Young please never stop your videos they are my happy pill for the day! Lol!

So happy to see all three of you back again. You have been missed. I have a tip for polymer clay shank buttons . . . imbed cotter pins in the back of your buttons. They are inexpensive in the hardware store, and the wire can be clipped to make it the right size.

Thank you Lindsay. Looking like the stubby stampers is an US company. Upon your recommendation I have ordered stamps from Art Neko/About Art Accents and Lost Coast Stamps. Both companies offer excellent quality and assortment of stamps, and the level of customer service is very impressive, (Annette at Art Neko is amazing to deal with). In the long run the cost of the stamps is far less than any I have found in Canada even with the exchange and international shipping figured in. With appreciation, Beth

I need to join craft hoarders anonymous also. My latest acquisition in the box department is a display box I can file my new acrylic stamps. I keep throwing stuff out but it feels like it breeds and makes more.

oh I so miss not hearing you ladies. If you should hear of a way that I can get the words to ask a crafter I would really appreciate it. I have learned so much from your tips and now not hearing I feel so left out. I still watch just in case I get what you are talking about, but mostly makes me smile when you three start to giggle. Lord knows for me these days it is hard to have something to smile about so you three are my new silent medicines. 🙂
